It was the Jets first game and they won so shut up about the first game BS. We lost for a number of reasons and the biggest problem seems to be the play calling and the removal of Ricky and Ronnie on 3rd down. What the hell were they thinking? Ginn contributed nothing. We need a game breaking reciever...!!!

Wonder when we'll notch our first win this season. I see a few losses in a row coming our way.

Sparano, do you have any imagination at all when it comes to play calling.

The outcome did not suprise me. The owner has been selling us useless dirt for all the teams he has owned (I know, I know, its another subject). And he brings in a guy who is supposed to be a turnaround specialist. (That guy had better personnel in New York and Dallas to work with.) Then that guy, has a burr up his butt, and trades the best player to the Redskins. I know the players have pride, and will probably get it worked out together. But not this year, and they will probably not be together when it is worked out, in my opinion.

bit i thought ginn was a great pac-10 wr as one of your dolphin buddies put it (LOL) ginn sucks and so do the dolphins.
PAC-10-lol.
Knock on him was route running. My knock is that he is TINY. Tiny + Scared = poor receiver in NFL. We made him the ninth pick in a league where big receivers dominate. Marvin Harrison is small but runs great routes. He is so fast because he has been running away from people his whole life. Compare his punt reurns with Hester and he is faster than Hester.

I genuinely feel bad for Pennington. I'll take the win but if there were ever a time I could have tolerated a Miami win over NY it was today.

So, what has changed? We played terrible for 3 Quarters and we lost to a JET team that was 4-12 last year. Looks like 1-15 all over again.

I don't care what the jets say....they are not that good. Even with all the free agents they signed.

Ginn , at least foul the guy and have one more play , don't watch the guy intercept in the end zone . He needs to learn some basic football. I thought the team play much better than the past 2 years , our writer from our news paper has never been correct on anything since he came to the paper.
Ginn did foul him but his little high school body doesn't have the strength to outfight a smaller NFL cornerback. One that "slow" Plaxico threw aside last year on that long td. They went out and got Wilford and have Hagan. Why not go big? Instead we fall in love with a guy who can't get off the line. NO ELUSIVENESS. NONE. Makes no one miss and runs out of bounds every chance he gets.
You can tell how much I like his game. Trade him while he still has ANY value. 9th pick. What a joke. Him and his family. cameron and his couches, plasma tv's, No talent drafting coaching. Last years draft:
Ginn- can't play
Beck- Won't and cant play
Mauia- Gone
Satele- only player and the pick cost us a player in order to get the pick-----
That player was WES WELKER. He is better than Ted Ginn any day of the week. The Dolphins have this way of trading away their best players for picks they end up screwing up. SEE Chris Chambers, Jason Taylor, Wes Welker, Patrick Surtain. Think Surtain would have been beaten like that? think Chambers would not have gone up and gotten that ball yesterday? Cheap gets you cheap.

Never seen so much $$$ spent for such marginal performers--Top of the list is this Ginn guy. Can't even break up the intercept pass. Coach looked like he was a deer in headlights. LOL

Notice that Ginn fouled the guy because HE KNEW he had no chance. He has no confidence in himself. The difference comes down to two plays on the last drive.
The out he ran:
Deep out, catches the ball and does not even turn and face the defender to see if he is there or can make a move and score. Instinctively cringes and steps out of bounds.
Ronnie catches a similiar pass and turns back into the defense and is trying to win the game.
Last play:
Runs a deep route and then when QB is in trouble, instead of breaking off his route and coming back. He stands in the corner of the endzone and then instead of trying out jump Revis, fouls him and still lets him catch the pass.
HE WILL NEVER BE A PLAYER. PERIOD.

Doesn't even play the ball on two punts...

Except for the tripping and holding- both of which were marginal and called by the linesman-not his call (what are the ref and ump looking at?) He was pretty solid one on one with their speed rushers. the hold in particular I felt was a bad call especially from the angle of the linesman. The ref didn't call it...
Did you guys also notice the play where the play clock ran out and the Jets still got the play off? The pass interference on Miami was also a poor call.

Butch is for lesbians. Spoiled means you have had and gotten what you want in the past.( Which we haven't) I would like the organization to have patience and not give away talent like Welker and Chambers because they are "rebuilding" Constant change does not imply or breed patience.
