Pee Wee Football Canceled Since Adults Can't Play Nice

Too many fouls have cost a pee-wee football team its entire season. But it wasn't action on the field that caused the problem, it was the action in the stands from the player's parents.

You know, it stinks that these kids who aren't doing anything wrong have their season cut short, but I for one am glad to see someone, some organization holding these parents responsible.

If your kid is playing because he wants to and is having a good time, then enjoy that good time with them. Dont ruin it because you are all upset that another kids parent is cheering for their kid better than you are for yours. And to the dad that punched the coach, teach your kid to be better and he will get more playing time. Either that, or just enjoy that he is playing sports and not playing with barbies. Parents really must grow up and let these children develop. Especially with PEE WEE football or any junior sport. Parents act this way and these very same kids will be the ones dressed in all black and wearing makeup when they get in highschool and will not want to take interest in anything other than being alone with their music and thoughts.

That woman on the news piece who complained that this is hurting the kids needs to get a clue. The problem isn't the league punishing the kids...it's the parents forcing the league to this decision because they don't know how to act like responsible adults.

She's like every other idiot who can't see where the real blame lies. If the parents want pee wee football, then they can act civilly. If they can't act civilly, then they can go off and do thier own thing, but don't blame a football league for actually standing up for civilized conduct.

I agree with all the coments. I was at the game Saturday when the Falcon played the Panthers. I applaud the Panther's coach to call that game. The coaches and fans were all ghetto. I don't want to her the parents and coaches talking that crap about they hurting the kids. I did not see any Falcon supporter try to discourage the fans coaches for their rude behaviors. If anything they encouraged that ghetto fabulous behavior. It is obvious from my view point that the Falcon's lack of respect toward the organization has intensified. Therefore, the actions taken by the league were absoutley correct. Perhaps the Falcon should join a prison football league to equal the talent and action of the falcon players, parents, and supporters(Since acting a fool among parents, coaches, and supporters would be more appropiate for Falcon's football).

"The first incident was a screaming match between to moms". Does KXAS have idiots writing these stories? My first grader would know it should be "between TWO moms".

The first incident was between two moms how about the second and third. You must go to one of their games to get the real effect from that ghetto team.

Parents are always asking why kids act the way the do. Have the parents looked in a mirror lately. You lead by example and when you act the way the parents acted you will get the same back in the years to come. Unfortunately this happens in all sports from the young kids to high school and beyond. The parents have a choice - you can teach your children to be either a good sport or a bad sport. I think the parents need to go back and learn some manners so they can teach their children.

i think it was the right decision. it is unfortunate for the kids, but what example do their parents set for them seeing as they can't behave correctly. they say it is about the kids, then prove it and act accordingly. grow up. i am not saying that all adults acted inappropriately, but for those who did, how sad for your children. and people wonder what is wrong with our kids today. it is a sad shame for those children and their families who act right and are there for the love of the game.
they are kids, everyone deserves the chance to play. my daughter is on a team of 14 girls and yeah, sometimes she sits the bench but i don't gripe about it because she is learning to be a team player and the other girls get time to learn and play.
parents...get over it. if you learn to play nice in the sandbox your children will have more opportunity.otherwise, if you keep up your attitude and issues, say hello to the future Pacman Jones because you aren't teaching your kids anything.

FROM the start of season the league(UYFL) has not lived up to there word, first saying its a Select League, then all rules will apply to every team, but didnt punish there own team for shouting, fighting, coaches using foul lanquage. AMG PANTHERS PARENTS was so ruley this past weekend that it took us the falcons to call the police, but it was there parents and coaches who probaly set things up to fall in our disadvantage. one of there players parent curse toward each person on the opposing side line about his son losing, which he punched a official who was running the time clock who happened to be a head coach, but their was no strike toward AMG PANTHERS ORGANIZATION only the Falcons, which was not right for the kids, the kids had no involvement with no one. the kids should be reinstated as soon as possble because they did nothing wrong

Cut the hogwash the Falcon team has been disfunctional every since the season started. If this was there first fight they would not have been kicked out of the league. Don't try to blame the AMG Panthers for Falcon ghetto behavior actions. Blame your parents, coaches. Just admit the Falcon don't have any class. The only way they know how to act is ghetto.

ive coached for 15 yrs., ive never seen or been involved with such mess in my life, most of the falcons kids come from household like most,ARLINGTON,MANSFIELD,CROWL EY,FT.WORTH,NORTH RICHLND HILLS, to name a few.most parents work like anyone else,GM,POST OFFICE,FEDERAL BUILDING,MILLER BREWING, to say we act like the hood or ghetto is wrong, cause the WHITE GUY how started all that mess say he lived in MANSFIELD, unless its a NEW GHETTO out that way, you know what that makes him. ive been at each and every game this year and most of the time it was the other team with the foolishness, but how things get started is THE FALCONS WHICH PLAYS REAL PEE-WEE FOOTBALL WIN OR LOSE, they cannot accept that the falcons are much better than their kids and have better coaches, so that tends to make the opponents upset because the was not A SELECT TEAM LIKE THEY SAID AND THE BETTER TEAM WINS, thats why they dont want us in that league, if we would have known that that wasnt any select teams over there we would have pulled our whole org. AMG(blue)AMG(white)GRAND PRAIRE RAMS,TEXAS GATORS,ARLINGTON AGGIES,GRAND PRAIRE SPARTANS, or all full of it, i know first hand cause im a coach

I have never been to a Falcons game before but personally I witnessed a Falcons coach on Saturday (apparently after Falcon/Panthers game) arguing with a parent at ANOTHER teams game...I thought it was ridiculous for him to be representing his team in that manner...whether he was scouting or just enjoying the game of a potential opposing team, SHOULD NOT CONSTITUTE idiotic behavior...and yes the parent shared some responsibility but the coach is the one who had on a Falcons coaching shirt, representing the Falcons organization and those kids, he now feels sorry for...to say the least..what I witnessed may have been minimal to what really happened at the Falcons/Panthers game but after seeing that, I was not surprised to hear this story on the news!! Hope lessons are learned and the children get mature, responsible adults to lead and guide what is suppose to be a fun & enjoyable time of their life!

I have read all the above comments and not one time the Falcon admitted that their behavior is not sportmanlike conduct. What you need to do is have a meeting with kids and tell them that the Falcon have failed them and next year when we get warning from organization about our ghetto behavior we will have a meeting with all the parents, coaches and supporter and tell them how to act. I bet next time you will take a warning serious.

If "Coach H" coaches as well as he communicates here, it is little wonder people are calling them "ghetto". Parents just do not realize how their actions will affect their children. I agree with most of the above, grow up, admit your behavior was wrong and let that be a lesson to all, even the kids.

Way to teach your kids !!!! What role models!!!! I hope your kids learn from someone else on how to play and treat others. Kick them all out. I hate it for the kids because they did nothing wrong but the parents were warned!!!! To much of this stuff goes on.

YES KIDS FROM THE GHETTO HAS FOOTBALL TEAMS TOO. IF YOU GOING TO PLAY AGAINST A TEAM FROM THE HOOD TAKE YOUR WHIPPING LIKE A MAN AND TEACH YOUR KIDS THE FUNDAMENTALS FIRST, THATS HOW IT WORKS

It is much deeper than all the "fighting" or inappropiate behavior by parents and coaches. If you were at the game you would know that the coach was threatened by the other guy. But of course that part of it will not be reported. The teams in the league were just upset that the Falcons had beaten EVERY team in the league. Of course they are going to do everything in their power to make the parents actions seem wrong, so they can get the "ghetto" team out, so that the league can be like it used to be. This kind of thing just doesn't happen with a team in Haltom City. Are their kids being called ghetto? Did their team get kicked out of their league? No! So in my honest opinion it is way deeper than the "fighting".

I am confuse. If it is much deeper than fighting and inappropriate behavior why has there been 3 incident with Falcon organization. If other teams in the league are upset about losing why haven't their been other inappropriate behavior with oher teams. There is always a winner and loser in every game why other teams are fighting when they lose if the league is upset because the Falcon are undefeated.

okay im sorry for protecting myself against a man i dont know ,who was swinging out of control and punch me right in my eye. next time ill think about all of your comments. first i dont have to admit anything cause i didnt do anything.second we are tired of wasting our gas and time traveling to the home teams field knowing we are not liked because our boys are good and they little ol boys are not up to standard with us, dont be mad practice more, thats what we did many years ago, we took our lose and rebuild from it,we didnt point the finger. my parents are glad not to get up on saturday morning and play at 10:00 and game is over at 10:30 because there was only 10 players are less show and we run the score up to 40 points are more and now the parents on the home team is mad cause we played football, I BELIEVE ALL THE ONES SAYING, grow up,admit the wrong, ridiculous, IT BE YALL STARTING ALL THE MESS, ILL WILL SAY IT AGAIN IF YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON ANY PERSON YOU DESERVE WHATEVER THAT PERSON GIVES YOU, REMEMBER THAT, AND THATS WHY AT THIS POINT HE HAS A ASSAULT CASE PENDING ON HIM, THATS BETTER THEN WINNING A GAME TO ME HE GOT HIS ASS WHIPPED AND CHARGES FILED.AND OUR KIDS ARE STILL PLAYING FOOTBALL,
