Howie how can you say run run run when at halftime of most your games you will be losing by 20 points and will be forced to PASS the ball. Remember last year when i told all you Dolfans that Beck was a loser you all argued with me, now what do you think. Beck is a loser. Bet Pennington will fit right in since his record last year was 1-7. See just like the Dolphins last year 1 win. Maybe if he starts the whole season you win 2 games.GLNoodle-arm, I dont know; Ive been studying on this for the past few hours, and as allot of you have pointed out it does make sense. I dont know where one guy heard that we want to stretch the field? thats not gonna happen very much this year. Its gonna be more like run, run, and run some more, with occasional 15-25yd pass plays mixed in. All in all if he does end up here I think it would be a good fit for what we are looking for this year. By next Henne should be ready, and then we'll stretch the field...GO PHINS!!!

Guys, Pennington has been barely able to cut it in Jet-land. Kellen Clemens isn't all that grand and he's been pushing Chad for the starting job. Therefore... WHY DO YOU THINK THE JETS GRABBED FARVE?!! And... Farve may only be around for a mere year!
The ONLY way we sign Pennington is if we can get trade value out of either McCown or Beck. And you heard Sparano say today that he's happy with ALL 3 of our QBs. The money we'd have to pay Pennington is ju$t not worth it; his shoulder and numbers are suspect after his injuries. This is just another case of "turning over every stone", just like with Quincy Carter; it fires up our current crop of QBs to make them more invigorated. I like it! And I must apologize to Cam... for this is what he did to invigorate Ronnie Brown last year. Unfortunately, he overused Ronnie. GO PHINS! |

How many times have we heard that from you Greg? It seems to me when I log on to sun sentinel and I scroll down, It clearly says Miami Dolphins, then I click on that and find stories pertaining to the Dolphins. So now I am reading a story of a possible Dolphins acquisition. And if there was a story about the Favre trade to the Jets, you wont find my name in the posts. Why is that you may ask, cause it has nothing to do with my team...GO PHINS!!! |
take Chad please. |

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
NO DARN NOODLE ARMS QUARTERBACKS!!! |
|
|
Funny...they praise Chad for beating the Fins 7 out of 8 games. We were 1-15 last year...was it really that hard to beat us twice last year, or the year before??? Please.,

No way!! We got our QBs and just need to develop them.

wouldnt you rather have pennington on this team than favre, mccown, bledson, coke-head, testaverde, green, weinke, or whatever other possible available quartbacks come to mind. this guy is an intelligent player and dont forget good. even though he cant throw the ball past 10 yards this guy is a pro player and would be a better tutor to beck and henne than mcclown. and dont forget that he is familiar with the system. the jets have been trying to replace for like 6 years now but he has always been better than the competition despite his shoulder issues

6-WINS 1st year...not bad.
Remember 1-Win. I'll be glade with Pennington. |

OH I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS

Pennington may not have a rocket arm to reach way out. I believe he would be a valuable asset to any NFL team. As a starter, what he may be lacking on length, he makes up with leadership.

the dolphins would suck with Pennington and without him. But if Chad does come to Miami, he will be on IR in no time, so don't expect much Miami.

I have to give the Tuna some respect on his influence of some veteran free agents (Pennington/Glenn) willing to consider coming to the Phins. I know the players aren't the elite ones but they are at least above average. There are alot of people that either love or hate the Tuna. Without him, I doubt any players would ever give us a thought this season if we had Saban or Cam as coach after a 1-15 season which made us the joke of the NFL. I'll guarantee more veterans will be visiting us when teams make cuts. Hopefully, this will make the team a little bit more respectable compared to 07'.

Fins are way too cheap. And Farve wouldnt play for a pathetic team like the Fins either. |
|
for christ sake! what's next, "Joe Montana" out of retirement, headed to the Dolphins?"...
enough of this crap! |

If the Trifecta choose to sign Pennington it may be the beginning of the end. Each of the last 3 eras wrote their ending with the selection of the starting QB.
Wannstedt chose poorly with Jay Fielder. Saban chose poorly with Daunte Culpepper. Cameron chose poorly with Lemon. Trifecta would choose poorly with Pennington. |
