Chad Pennington headed to Dolphins?

if Pennington joins the phins we will have 4 very good 3rd string QB's.. the problem is none are good enough to start in the NFL, and maybe would have a shot at starting for a division 1 college football team.

Why didn't we take Favre?

Pennington to Miami would make very little sense. It would be yet another in an interminable succession of stop-gap, quick-fix moves. At 32 w/ a series of shoulder injuries and a weak arm, he's not the answer for the future and should not be part of the present. The reasons why it would make no sense to bring in guys like Favre or Quincey Carter are the same ones it makes no sense to even consider Pennington. If they want a guy like Pennington, they could have saved themselves the trouble early in the offseason and kept Trent Green. We need a young QB who can be developed. Stop fanning the flames of any scenario that does not fit those criteria.

Look, we need to get over the fact that we didn't take Favre. Truthfully it would have been a bad idea. Too much money waisted and we are a team in "Building transition". There just wouldn't be any sense in throwing players of our future (future draft picks) at a guy who will only be in the league at two years tops. Wether he helps us win a few more games now or not that's not really what we're here for. We're watching this team transition from a losing aged franchise to a winning young one. And I really don't see us bringing in Pennington either. He won't do anything for us that these guys we have now wouldn't do. He shouldn't have ever been a starter. "Noted" dolphins killer? I don't know about that. We haven't really been good for awhile so you could say that about just about anybody from any team. Let's just move on and drop it. I'm really looking forward to Henne taking the reigns at some point. Let's go 'Fins!

Look, guys, you've invested in three qb's...you did your homework on these three and you decided that you wanted them. What are you gonna do now, forget the time and picks you invested in them and let one go? Or are you going to turn this into a Tampa Bay scenario.

If you want a championship winning team and you feel you have to still look for qb's...i think you can be a little more adventurous than Chad.
