In a game that, quite honestly, should not have even gone that far with the crazy wind and rain, I have to say the Orioles are showing they do not quit and are gritty as hell. They are fun to watch for sure.

Just make the name and numbers black again like when they first overhauled the uniforms. Orange on grey is ugly.

Let try once again to convince somebody other then myself that jamie walker doesn't belong on this team. That is 11 inherited runners to score. They are now batting over 400 against him and this figures keep going higher every time he goes out. I have heard of a manager trying to get somebodt back on track by using him every night, but this is fast becoming a joke. I will keep asking is there somebody out there besides myself that see's the same thing. Please tell me that there is.

The scariest part of the game was the rain delay. I thought the Orioles might have those three runs in the top of the first null and void.

Also, Kevin Millar had a very good game. Last night, he went three for four, two runs scored, and a three-run home run. Hope he can follow it up with another good game today.

The more that the Orioles win, the less we seem to hear from "Ghost Oriole" from Delaware. Orioles, PLEASE keep winning!

So, the loser here from Brewster has to spread his comment over THREE posts so we can see him in his ancient yuppie photo with goofie grin.
And he has to put in a slam against Ghost Oriole who also sees him for what he is.
Shheesh- please tell everyone what your GPA is again but please make sure you state it to 10 decimal points this time so we'll be really impressed.

Who HASN'T slammed "Ghost Oriole?" You two are the only losers on this blog that everyone can't stand. Any friend of Ghost Oriole, is a loser, and an enemy of the Orioles and their fans.

Yeah, the Ghost is a bitter hater like Nester and others. That aside, I hope we sell high on Sherrill. He has gotten the job done but closers are overvalued (see Moneyball) and he's scary and not as good as his 12 for 13 stats. As for Walker, his stuff is just so ordinary, I cringe everytime he takes the mound but we are stuck with him thanks to Flanny & Duq.

P.S. Sorry to say, but you are going to have to fend for yourself today. "Ghost Oriole" was nowhere to be found when we were 6-1, and now that we've won three in a row, he shouldn't be here. If he is, he can only say something positive about the O's, and that's just not in his character.

I view the team as a regional franchise. We have fans as far north as Brewster, NY and as far south as North Carolina. Plus we don't need to remind DC fan that they have their own team now; we need to embrace the ENTIRE region. Why? The locals of Baltimore are not doing their job of supporting the team adequately anyway. And as always "Orioles" looks great on the roadie, no changes please, Peter G. Angelos.

I agree about the locals. I've said before, If I can drag my pathetic a$$ four and a half hours down to Camden Yards, then the people that live in the Baltimore area can drive a few hours to the game.

Even though they won't be in the playoffs, the O's are young, eager and getting more talented. The Grandfather Yankees are getting older, and starting to lose their empirish grip on the AL East. Now if there is only something that can be done about those Red Sox up North......

I am a lifelong O's fan from Baltimore. It is dismal seeing all the empty seats at Camden Yards, but I gotta say a decade of sucking and I mean really sucking, will have that effect. A lot of people think we will never have a chance until Angelos sells to someone else. Bleacher seats are over twenty bucks, they were $12 bucks, five or so years ago. If you suck and raise prices year after year, less people will show. And it probably costs the guy from Brewster less money to buy tickets, travel to Baltimore, stay in a hotel, than it would to go to a single Yankees game.

That being said, GO O's.
