Wake up already, you are paying at the pump for the record profits of Exxon Mobil, how you can justify that, when the only reason for that is total absence of free market (oil market in US, and Canada is fixed) and your favorit politicians (and opposition) are nothing more than Corporate Sock Moppets. Record Profits, in numbers certainly not in percentages. And since when were companies not allowed to make a profit in the free world. How dare they. What about Bill gates, why not go after him, or any company who makes more than 10% profit, because that's about where Exxon is. Sure it's mega bucks, but they pay almost 50% of it to government taxes, I wonder what some of the others who are pointing fingers pay. You know Bobby 10% of the USA's richest companies account for almost 45% of their tax revenue, I see no wrong in companies making money if they pay their fair share for the priviledge. Of course in the fuel price circus, we all overlook the fact that the Middle East is driving the oil price, if anyone is making obscene amounts of money it has to be those countries who are milking the rest of the world to death with $120+ a barrel prices. But best we don't insult them, after all they might just declare Jihad. And while we all sit around bitching, a small group of cookoo liberal left wingers have tied countries liike the USA and Canada up in knots, preventing them form tapping into massive oil reserves right here on the N American continent, which would bring prices for the continent down substantially. And in the meantime we are told to look for alternative fuels, so enter ethanol, which takes more than a gallon of fuel and corn to make a gallon of ethanol, and now the world is staring down the barrel of a major maize/corn shrtage. Sorry that does not make any sense. But then again we should also thank out lucky stars we don't live in Europe, where prices touch $8.00 a gallon.

Yip and the Americans are bitching cause it's hit $3.60 a gallon. Of course the US gallon and the Imperial gallon are a little different, the US version is about 3.9l while the British gallon is around 4.5l.

Oh the scandal you drive an oil burner Library gal. All those smelly evil gases being ommited into the air, worse than petrol fumes I suspect. My 3.2L V8 does fine though at just a few miles per gallon, hell who's counting anyway.

Oh ... oh ... I didn't think of that ... I was about to buy a diesel car ... glad I didn't. I think that's a warning sign but here in Buenos Aires I think we are too far from that .. but mainly because of the public transport and trucks running through the capital every day (on diesel)... every hour. The truck and public transportation organizations are very "heavy" here, not a good railroad and train systems (politics?) and we have all the containers moving in and out of our harvor by truck (running through the city capital)... that's a nightmare ... somedays it takes me 2hr to make my 40km from home!

And gun mounts to chase down the illegals, deer and of course the Alonso worshitters. It's a great sport, hunting worshitters, thy're a dime a dozen, and all you need to do is shout "Fernando's going to ferrari" and they freeze, allowing you the perfect shot. Most times though Luis, I just wound them, and leave them to suffer, or catch them and take them to my home in the woods, tie them down and make them watch video fo MS over and over again, until they go mad. Last week alone I was lucky, I caught 2 worshitters, the one was so far gone, I just shot her there and then, but the other one, well he's he's been watching the 2004 season highlights, you know the one where the Schue won how many races again?... oops sorry gotta go, the poor bastard is screaming again, and it's only his 4 rerun, time for that tranqualiser again....
