Spanish people are not racist. We are just anti-Hamilton.

I agree, Spain is no more racist than any other country in the world; this problem would not have arisen if Hamilton had kept his mouth shut the week prior to arriving there instead of having a go at Fernando Alonso through the media. Not the cleverest of moves by Hamilton and he needs to hold his hand up and take some responsibility for the outburst against him. Perversly, it is acceptable for the British Press and many members of the public to say absolutely what they want, including racist jibes, against Alonso without a question being raised. Double standards? Without a doubt.

Couldn't agree more with you Annie! The whole thing was a farce and nothing compared to what Alonso had to face in Britain - or this forum for that matter.

I agree with all of you. And thinking about it... ok, the Spanish media, on occassion of the famous/infamous Max "give it to me in German" Mosley, should also launch a campaing: "No more Obersturmbarmleiter in F1".

Ha!

And even more to the point: I would like people this time not to impersonate Hamilton but Nazi concentration camp guards. What would the FIA say about it? Could they dissapprove of such behaviour?

LOL!

And ha!

Hey GWO, here's a better one, for the next few races the anti Alonso-ists are going to dress up in renault outfits with flames coming out of them.

Oh please Annie, so just because Alonso is a pissy cry baby and can't handle a bit of lip from Hamilton, his fans have to come out and throw the racism act at the Englishman. Does calling the Spaniard a pissy cry baby constitute racism, or is it just the truth, maybe just an opinion and probably nothing more, yet the Alonso worshitters go on the defensive everytime anyone has anything just remotely negative to say about the boy. Let's keep in mind Alonso is not the squeaky clean kid you all think he is, he was the one who pretty much secured the demise of macca last year, what a prick.

Maybe it's time for you Alonso loving losers to grow up and realise that when soemone has something to say about him, you don't need to declare war on the rest of the world.

Oh and as for the rest, what's the points tally right now, hamilton 19...Alonos 6. I reckon hamilton has every right to bring up his ex team mate, right now he's whiping his ass on the Spaniard's overalls, well actually most of the drivers out there are doing that. What a pleasure. Maybe they should change that horrid fin on that reanult with a set of bull's horns, maybe el torro will improve just a little.

When Ham talks himself up so much you've got to stick a pin in him sometimes.
I don't know if you get the British TV coverage but just before the start of the race in Bahrain he promised he would take the lead by doing "one of my trademark miracle starts".

"one of my trademark miracle starts".

That to me look highly suspect and dangerous to others....even his own team mate on this occasion.

Oh Redneck why don't you just shut up sometimes? This war is getting silly. So what if Hamilton has 19 points to Alonsos 6- I think Hamilton should be more worried about stuffed by Kimi than worrying about what the guys in the sharkfins are doing.
Anyway- it was nice to see Fernando standing next to Lewis on the truck during the drivers parade waving to the crowds..........or did you just not see that?

Peter Windsor who does the walk through for Speed Channel in the U.S. has said, that Mclaren's publacist has said, Lewis doesn't answer any questions before the start of a race. It's hard to believe Hamilton made a comment like that, and was not reported by motor racing journalist's.........can you give a source for your claim?

Shows the lack of class of a certain Spaniard Library girl... I never started the war, it was you and your worshitter buddies who were telling the rest of civilization at the start of 2008 how renault was going to dominate, and how Alonso was going to win his 3rd WDC. I'm just stating the obvious for you lot, and now the shoes on the other foot, the man is heading backwards, and all I'm doing is glowing in the joy of seeing him looking so ordinary... no actually pathetic comes to mind.

Lazarus, what do I have to be bitter about. Seven times is better than anyone else sunshine, funny how the benchmark is set according to what Schumie has done. Sad too that it will never be beaten, well not by the pissy, ordinary, fire spewing Spaniard anyway.

Hamilton said he didn't anticipate any problems even though he was further down the grid.

He also said, "It shouldn't be such a problem up there, you're obviously with all the professional drivers and they all want to finish, so we'll make sure we get a good start and see if we can get a few places at the beginning".

How do you get, he promised........he would take the lead?

You seem to suffer from a very selctive memory.

At the start of the 2007 Spanish G.P.,Fernando Alonso runs off the track in a wreckless move to try and pass Felipe Massa. Alonso coming back on to the track nearly hits Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

Whose move was more dangerous to their teamates during the Spanish Grand Prix........Alonso in 2007......or.......Hamilton in 2008?

hey Noel ... did you see Kimi on the podium in Spain ???... it's still one of my favourite moments ... he did it AGAIN !!!!.... but this time he went for a big sip from the bottle when the authorities where still there and they passed in front of him ... he stood still with his cheeks full of champagne and made a funny face before swallowing !
