i couldnt agree with you more,im a cardinals fan so im not biased against new england, they are a great franchise and i dont feel THEY are overrated,Tom Brady however is IMO without a shadow of a doubt the most overrated football pl.....i mean athelete i have ever seen in my life. With as much time as he has in the pocket and the way their offense is run(alot of short passes that rb's and wr's turn into big plays because of great blocking)many qb's could do what brady does and probably do it better, enough with the comparisons to montana already, tom brady is nowhere near montana........just my personal opinion though

I have been saying that for years. Brady is over rated. You could take any QB from any team even second strigers and put them on new england with the same results brady has had.

Tom Brady is the greatest football player in the NFL right now and maybe the past 20 years. Tell me what other player would you rather have under center in a 2:00 situation? Name someone playing the game right now. I think your just mad cause Tom "2 time superbowl MVP" Brady isn't the type of quarterback to make a big fuss about being the best. Tom really is picture of a great team player. He has paid his time as a back up qb to Bledsoe and took his first chance swinging and won a superbowl. If anything I think has been rated fairly.

If Tom Brady is overrated then so is michael vick, peyton manning just to name a few. Atleast he can win a big game in a crunch situation. So you can all stop hating now because you got what you wanted he is not going to another super bowl this and its not for lack of trying if it was not for brady the pats would not have made it as far as they did.

it's real simple, take any qb you want and put them on the 2001 pats...24th ranked defense and 24th ranked running game...then put them on the 2003 pats...30th in yards per carry...how many rings do they win?

The kid is sharp. Smart as a tack. Does anyone remember his senior year at Michigan, "The Comeback KID" ? come on. He's got ice in his veins, cool and calm under pressure. ala Joe Montana. You can take John Kitna, or how about Joey Harrington, they would never make it happen on the 2001 Pats.. the very fact that they were ranked 24th in both rushing and in defense, shows you the power of what a composed leader can do for a team.

I am so sick of hearing that Brady is overated. Peyton manning cant win a big game with one some of the best offensive tools in the NFL. look at that guys recivers. brady did it all in the air in 2001 and 2003. they had NOOOO running game. you cant win 3 suberbowls in 4 years and be average. like someone was saying michael vick has accomplished nothing. eli manning is a joke. all these guys who come into the league and cant get it done. then you have guys like brady who come out of the 6th round and work their asses off. Tom brady shows more leadership then any quaterback in the NFL. you could be like manning and take the 100million and crush the cap for your team. or you can be like brady and be team guy. 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2 SUPER BOWL MVPs WHAT DOES THIS GUY NEED TO DO TO GET SOME RESPECT. 49 touchdown passes means nothing when you cant score a point in the playoffs like manning did last year. the whole colts team scored 3. name one quaterback that is better.

Brady is an accurate, intelligent quarterback, who does not get flustered by the pressure of any defences. It is not as easy as it looks to be a good quarterback. West Coast offences do not all work the way Brady makes his work. Ask the Lions. Brady has a certain intangable ability and is a very tough competitor. To suggest otherwise is naive.

Don't be jealous, it's ok, the Bills are bound to get another 4 chances to lose, especially with Marv back....

Obviously the author of this post has has no clue as to what he is talking about!... Professional players in sports are rated by 2 categories during thier careers.. Personal statistics and ultimately winning championships. Tom Brady to date has not put up the best statistics amongst his QB peers ala P Manning, but he has guided the New England Patriots to 3 Championships, winning the MVP in 2 of them!... The author of this post in declaring T Brady is overrated clearly values posting hallow statistics over guiding teams to championships - like I stated earlier "He has no clue"! HERE IS ANOTHER THING FOR OUR FRIEND TO THINK OF - Tom Brady is only 28, QBs' generally get better with age, combine that with a great coach in B Belichick and the New England Patriots will return to glory sooner than later!...Last but not least Get well soon T Brady!!!(Sports Hernia) which he played with for half a year. He recently underwent surgery and will require 6 to 8 weeks of recovery!
