I hope NASCAR has the integrity not to even call what they had on 7-27-08 a Race, I also hope NASCAR has the integrity to take about half of the money, place it into an account and attempt to get it back to the people who bought tickets to see a race. What a great spectacle seeing 43 drivers running around at about 80% effort attempting to keep a right rear tire and every ten laps having a yellow waved to come into the pits. The fans got to watch 160 laps of tire test/testing for next years race. There is no excuse with the amount of money and technology avaliable to NASCAR to put on a debacle like that. NASCAR, with Indy being tied for the second largest track, having virtualy no banking and having this new, non handling car that rolls so much, one would think that extensive testing and planning for every possibility would have been done almost every week to plan for any type weather would have been done. Just another example of the fact that Brian and The Suits at NASCAR are incapable (Because there is not a real racer left in the front office at NASCAR) of running NASCAR and keeping it the interesting product that it once was.

Amen... too bad that they all have the face on of protecting their joke of a sport though..after yesterday, I am not renewing any more tickets to these races.

Yea Debi I usually go to about 3 a year. I think I'll be cutting back myself. Maybe just go to Bristol next year. But there is still places to watch some fun racing. This Saturday in Beaver Dam Wis I am going to world of Outlaws race. It's priced much more reasonable and it's a blast.

I am with you Debi, that what they call a race was so awful, I really thought I was dreaming. I see where Kyle said that he droped back for he did not want to win a race such as that one. And he said the farther back the better for to be up front and have to talk about it, would be an embrassing thing to do! He laughs at Nascar and says even Mexio dont want Nascar there! Glad it was HMS that won, for I would never want out JGR to win a mockery race like that! I got so many calls from folks and said they are now done with Nascar, and said {{WHAT A JOKE}}57 caution laps in that race led!!

I went to Indy a couple of yrs ago and said I would never go back. I sure am glad I didn't spend my hard earn money this yr. That was the sorriest race I've seen in a long time. What did they accomplish? The pit crew having a good work out? If people like to watch the pit crew do their thing then you had an eye full, cause there wasn't a race to watch! Goodyear better get their act together! Cause if they keep pulling crap like they did at Indy, NASCAR will keep losing more fans.

I guess I was looking for anything to make it worth watching...

I'm losing interest....quickly. yeah, Chad used his uaual strategy of focusing on qualifying which TOTALLY played into their plans this time because having to all pit together and knowing they would only take 2 for the last stop, got Jimbob out from his first pit stall first. AS USUAL... WAKE UP TO THEIR EXTREMELY LAME STRATEGY!!! IT IS NOT REALLY RACING!!! OH HOW I WISH CARL WOULD HAVE FORGOT ABOUT DENNY AND GOT PAST JIMMIE ON THE RESTART it WAS going to be interesting with guys pitting early until more than likely RICK HENDRICK cried to get them to stop that from happening...we can't have anyone other than Hendricks win a STRATEGY RACE!!

You know I realize that race was bad but I'd never cancel my tickets because of it. People say that Fontana is boring and I always go because it's about the experience for me. Yeah they get kind of strung out but for me it's about more than 'exciting' racing. I guess that's just me.

My favorite race - the Brickyard was indeed boring. Caution flags and Tire troubles. Next year should be better.
