Thanks for the stats but I wasn’t comparing Kampman and Allen. I said Allen was a fantastic player. Did you read the post? I was bustin your balls over the nonsense comparison to Culpepper.
It was ridiculous and you know it that is why you are all pissed off.
He had one good year? That is what you said. Which year was the good year, when he had 15.5 sacks or 12? Seems to me both years are good. 2 Pro Bowl years! I didn’t say anything about comparing him to Allen! So it doesn’t seem he is fizzling out like Culpepper which is what you were implying by saying he is “PROBABLY” that type of player!
Do not get mad at me cause you wrote something stupid in your little pissing contest with Kstaff.
Have a Happy 4th!!! From the punk a$$ kid in Finland
So he had 2 good years. 2 out of 7 is still 28% of his career as a top DE. Until he can sustain that level for at least 2 more years, the jury is out on whether he is great or is a flash in the pan alla Culpepper.

Okay Stubby no sense in arguing any more about that. You think he isn’t proven. I think he is one of the top 5 DEs in the NFC. You’re a Vikes fan, I’m a Packer fan. Either way Happy 4th of July!

Titletown? Kind of a joke to me. They won the first two superbowls angainst subpar afc teams. The one they won was against a subpar NE team that beat Denver by a fluke. Hardly a lot to brag about. The Vikes should have beaten KC in 69 but Grant was outcoached by Stram. The other three were against Miami, Pitt and Oakland when they were super teams that would have slaughtered the Pack

Both teams our near the top of the NFL, but the edge has to go to the Pack. They really don't a weak link on their team. Plus they have so much depth at all the positions. People giving the North to Vikings because Favre is gone, need to take a look at the Vikings QBs. I'd take Rodgers and Brohm, over any of their three. Now to all the hype about their so called #1 run defense, very overrated as far as I'm concerned. Unless you're the Bears, why would anybody run against them when you can eat their db's up all day? Their best db is a Packer reject (Sharper,) who is always in the wrong position to make the play. I'm always reminded how sorry he is, every time I turn on the NFL network they're showing him giving up the TD to TD, in the Wildcard Game against the 49ers. The PACK is a more complete team, better overall defense, solid running game, Vikes can't keep up with the BIG FIVE, and we still have a better QB. How soon people forget the 34-0 BEAT DOWN the Pack put on them. Last time I looked Farve didn't play defense, but according to the last game the Vikings don't either.
Hey Digger, calculate in the improvements the Vikes have made to their pass defense before making ignorant comments.

It would be the Chicago Bears who saw their team laid to waste by the injury to their star wide receiver. A Bears team that was unable to move the ball ended up a woeful, NFL-worst 1-15 on the year. It would not be the only surprise of the year.

i will give the facts to why they improved it. this guy named jared allen had 16 sacks in 14 games in 07' on a horrible defense. he was constantly being double and triple teamed in games and was the only player on that defense who teams had to gameplan against. in doing all that he still managed to be the best defensive end in the league last season and still made the pro bowl. if he did that in the situation he was in, then imagine what he can do a D where there were already two pro bowl d-lineman without him. not to mention the best run D in the league. ellis wyms will be a decent player and with the 3 pro bowlers on the team then him, robison, mitchell, and edwards will have a lot more opportunities to make plays. madiue williams is a good safety. hopefully michael boulware can return to what he did his first 2 years in the league. tyrell johnson was the best safety in the draft and we got him. so i would say we are the most improved team and werent bad last season.

Wow, this Jared Allen guy must be extraterrestrial. Sixteen sacks and he was the ONLY player their opponents had to scheme against. What, he must have had to bust through constant triple and quadruple man blocks to get to the QB. It's not crazy to think he will get a million sacks with the Williams boys next to him. You Viking fans have me shakin' in my boots.

PACKERS WITH OR WITHOUT FAVRE WILL NOT DO AS WELL THIS YEAR. TOUGHER TEAMS MEANS MORE LOSSES. MINNESOTA HAS WEAK TEAMS TO CONTEND WITH AND THEY INCLUDE GIRLSCOUT TROOP 132 GREENBAY 7TH GRADERS FROM MERRIL MIDDLE SCHOOL WHO WILL GIVE THEM ALL THEY CAN HANDLE! PACKERS WILL GET 10 MAYBE 11 WINS IF IT IS A GOOD YEAR FOR THEM. MINNESOTA IS SHOOTING FOR A SPLIT SEASON WITH TOUGH LOSSES TO BOTH THE PACKERS AND MERRIL MIDDLE SCHOOL

I think the packers should move to sanfrancisco. That would fit real nice. Although I wouldn't want to play center or tight end.

Minnesota Vikings 11-5 **Super Bowl Bound**
Green Bay Packers 9-7 ** Wild Card Loss**
Detroit Lions 7-9 ** John Kitna Released **
Chicago Bears 5-11 ** 1st Round QB 2009 Draft **

No you don't need to be shakin in your boots because you'll only be watching from your tv set or in the stands at best. But if I were A. Rodgers I would be shaking in my boots yeah.
