Where are theBears fans. They've got to read the lead article on yahoo sports/NLF page. Beras on #32 on the fantasy juggernaut inder. Humorous article with some awful truths. It says no single Bears offensive player is worther drafting in a 12 team fantasy league. Way too funny.

i read that article and it is pretty funny. the best part of it was benson not being able to catch passes, pick up blitzing linebackers, or operate vehicles safely. lol. another funny part of it was forte being a huge upgrade to running back position. i really dont think he will be any good.

How about two years ago when Kampman lead all DE's in sacks and Jared Allen only had 7.
OOOOOh Kampman had 1 good year out of seven. He has 41 sacks in 7 years to Allen's 43 sacks in just 4 years. Way to go Kstaff. Thank you for pointing out how great Kampman is because he had a great year. Well guess what Culppper had a Probowl record breaking TD year second only to Peyton who set a new TD record. Guess what? He sucks now. Is Kampman the same kind of player? Hits his peak then fizzles? Probably.

But one last time....

In the last two years Jared Allen has 23 sacks Aaron Kampman has 27.5 sacks.

Hmmm..

Aaron Kampman--27.5
Jared Allen----23.0
__________
4.5 more sacks in the last two years for Kampmann.

But thanks for comparing our DE to the best QB you've had don the purple and gold in the last 20 years. That's something to be proud of too.

kampman has also played for green bay who i will admit have had a pretty decent defense as to jared allen playing for KC who is horrible. he was the only player that opposing offenses had to worry about. he was double and tripled teamed constantly while kampman didnt have to worry about that and still only finished 4.5 sacks better.

Really. I agree, what's 23.5 to 27?
Both stats are tremendous but what we Viking fans are saying is that Jared Allen is better placed to improve our defense than Kampman.
Sept. 8, we'll all know...

Way to prove you are an idiot. We all know Allen is a fantastic player but for you to talk shit about Kampman’s ability is just plain stupid. Good luck finding a lot of supporters on that one sh** 4 brains. Do you talk shit for the taste in your mouth or the smell of your breath? I bet both.

Just looking at your line of reasoning is comical. Seriously how did you come up with comparing Kampman to Culpepper anyway? My advise.. PUT THE GLUE DOWN!!!!!!

he wasnt comparing culpepper to kampman. the comparison was between culpepper and manning. i will admit that kampman is a very good DE but allen is better. he did almost the same thing on a very much worst defense. now hes on a good defense with two very good d-lineman who made the pro bowl without allen and allen made it without them. now to put the three together is going to be unstoppable if you can follow that.

Ohhh I can follow that! How the hell you block them is going to be a nightmare for coaching staffs. Should be crazy.

I think Stubby was attempting to compare that Culpepper had a good year “had a Probowl record breaking TD year” to Kampman’s good year in 2006. He then goes on to say Culpepper sucks and has fizzled out and says Kampman probably is that type of player too. Can you follow that:)

For punk a$$ kid in finland and half-staff sorry if you can't handle the truth.

Here's Kampman's sack career:
0.5, 2, 4.5, 6.6, 15.5, 12

Here's Allen's sack career:
9, 11, 7.5, 15.5

Allen's worst year was better than any of Kampman's first four years. Watch kampman's production dop off this year as his O goes 3 and out more and the D spends more time on the field.

Both ignorant responses by a couple of punks who don't know anything about football just proves how lame some of the Packers fans are. Why don;t GBPfan and Kstaff shut their useless nonsense talking mouths and let Packers fans with a clue like Proball and Eric speak for them.

Just because Aaron may have played on an overall better defense (not d-line) doesn't mean anything. He still faced double teams like Jared Allen. He is, like Jared Allen, the fixture of our defensive line. And don't think for a second that because Jared plays along side the Williams wall that he won't face his fair share of doubles. This is the NFL, it isn't high school. Coordinators will figure a way to scheme it. Either way Cliffy will take care of him by himself. However he will see less blocking schemes completely geared towards him.

And the argument that Kampman did poorly his first few years means he will be a fizzle out player really goes well with most viking fan's arguments.

Tavaris Jackson 9 TD's 12 Picks. So going off your argument and basically assuming that a player cannot improve and continue to play at that high level must mean that T Jack is always going to be an awful QB.

Whew!! I was starting to worry the Vikings might have a decent team in place for a few years.

how is clifton going to handle allen by himself when he had to double him last year. clifton is a good offensive tackle but i dont think he will be able to stop him all game by himself without any help.

Thanks for the stats but I wasn’t comparing Kampman and Allen. I said Allen was a fantastic player. Did you read the post? I was bustin your balls over the nonsense comparison to Culpepper.
It was ridiculous and you know it that is why you are all pissed off.

He had one good year? That is what you said. Which year was the good year, when he had 15.5 sacks or 12? Seems to me both years are good. 2 Pro Bowl years! I didn’t say anything about comparing him to Allen! So it doesn’t seem he is fizzling out like Culpepper which is what you were implying by saying he is “PROBABLY” that type of player!

Do not get mad at me cause you wrote something stupid in your little pissing contest with Kstaff.

Packers better than the Vikes. Wow you have to be kidding me. How can yall really say yall beat us when we had a 3rd string qb, and yall had to get that cheep shot on A.D. cause yall was scared of what record he would have broken that day. T-Jack wasn't even playing, we defentiely had a better chance of winning with T-Jack Than Brooks. And please dont jump on our defense. Dont get to comfortable, because now we have a receiver that can catch on yall top cb like Plaxico did in the playoffs last year. Plus yall can't beat the Bears. The No Offense, No Qb, No running game Bears. How could yall lose to the Bears Not Once But Twice. Is this even possible. Yall have to be placed behind us if The Cheeseheads are losing to the Bears. What is a cheesehead anyway. Cheese stinks. After the Vikings get done with the Packers this year, we're gonna rap yall up and shift yall to the dairy section and all stores around america. I'm talking about fans and players. MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL BABY, ARE YOU READY? Hey i wonder if the Packers are using spygate then trashed the tapes when spygate was found with the Patriots. One way or antother, they suck and can't stop Benard, Sidney, Chester,Allen, Adrian,Sharper, Nor T-Jack.

So he had 2 good years. 2 out of 7 is still 28% of his career as a top DE. Until he can sustain that level for at least 2 more years, the jury is out on whether he is great or is a flash in the pan alla Culpepper.
