the funny thing about ACORN is that they got paid $800,000.00 from Obama?
Now we know he was just helping the underprivileged get registered?
that is all he has ever worried about, the underprivileged?
The thing about him giving ACORN that much money is scary?
I mean if he does not care how that much money that he gave to a cause is being spent, then what is going to make him worry how the money he would spend as President?
He always has an excuse for his screw ups and his decisions?
People need to think about a person that won't take responsibility for the things he does?
vote with your brain and vote for McCain
Agree.

He gets caught and starts spinning more lies. Simply amazing.

Obama’s ACORN Doesn’t Fall Far From The Project Vote Tree
[False] Claim: ACORN was not part of Project Vote, the successful voter registration drive Barack ran in 1992.

[Real] Fact: Project Vote has always been a part of ACORN.

Now unless Obama was living in some alternate universe where that was not the case.

When he worked for Project he was working for ACORN.

Project Vote is an extension of ACORN.

His denying/lying about their connection is like his saying he is not connected to his campaign. For the lack of a better analogy.

LOL. Makes me think of (D) Mahoney in Florida where he admits to ONE Affair yesterday ONLY TO HAVE ANOTHER WOMAN say she had another AFFAIR with him too!

Someone cut off that man's supply of VIAGRA!

Sad for the wife & daughter though. How disgraceful and Humiliating for a little girl to go through. Knowing you dad isn't the person he claimed to be.
All too common I suppose.

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for. One thing not mentioned in the article that I heard on the radio one day is that Acorn is required by law to turn over all registration cards whether or not they think they are legitimate. They simply flag them as questionable. Also I saw that although the $800+ thousand went to a subsidiary of ACORN, it was for getting out the vote in the primaries and not to help with voter registration. I don't understand how they are still around with all these problems. I also heard that they no longer get paid for each registration, now they have a quota which I think is even worse. They hire homeless people, drug addicts, and alcoholics. While those people need jobs something of this importance probably is not the best place for them. I think it is important to make certain that all votes are legitimate but also that no ones right is suppressed. I think instead of getting registrations, they should be driving people to licensing offices to get ID's. No one should be allowed to vote without them.
You are welcome! I think voter fraud is a very wrong. I don't understand why everyone has jumped on this band wagon, saying Obama is responsible for ACORN's actions. I try to argue with the facts,(or surrender to them) instead of getting into a petty argument with the posters you know you can't have an intelligent discussion with. Or i amuse myself with them :)

Glad I could be helpful. I am a great researcher, so if you are looking for something in the future, just ask!

<quoted text>You know everyone wants change but sometimes the old ways make a lot of since. I was in England in April and I saw stocks on the public square. Today we would say that is barbaric. Voter fraud can be punished by prison time but when you do that what have you accomplished. It cost the tax payer money. The guy will lose his car and home and job and we may wind up supporting his wife and kids. If you put him in stocks for 8 hours a day for a week it cost the tax payer nothing, he has learned a valuable lesson and he can become a better member of society. I also saw a chopping block that that is a later discussion:)
That last statement made me laugh out loud. I think I heard that the majority of those ACORN hires are homeless, drug addicts, or alcoholics.

Obamafraud:

The Obama campaign has shattered all fund-raising records, raking in $458 million so far, with about half the bounty coming from donors who contribute $200 or less.

Aides say that's an illustration of a truly democratic campaign.

To critics, though, it can be an invitation for fraud and illegal foreign cash because donors giving individual sums of $200 or less don't have to be publicly reported.

Consider the cases of Obama donors "Doodad Pro" of Nunda, N.Y., who gave $17,130, and "Good Will" of Austin, Texas, who gave more than $11,000—both in excess of the $2,300-per-person federal limit.

In two recent letters to the Obama campaign, Federal Election Commission auditors flagged those (and other) donors and informed the campaign that the sums had to be returned.

Neither name had ever been publicly reported because both individuals made online donations in $10 and $25 increments. "Good Will" listed his employer as "Loving" and his occupation as "You," while supplying as his address 1015 Norwood Park Boulevard, which is shared by the Austin nonprofit Goodwill Industries.

Suzanha Burmeister, marketing director for Goodwill, said the group had "no clue" who the donor was. She added, however, that the group had received five puzzling thank-you letters from the Obama campaign this year, prompting it to send the campaign an e-mail in September pointing out the apparent fraudulent use of its name.

I have to wonder how many rights written in our constitution you would be willing to part with?
As for sacrfice, I gave 20 plus years to my country and have two sons serving in combat right now. My youngest son is to graduate in june and will be serving shortly there after.
My Daughter and Baby is in her third year of ROTC and plans to join.
I believe in sacrifice but Obama has directly threatened the bill of rights and if he can abolish the second amendment, He can abolish any of them.
I believe the when the bill of rights was written,They wrote the first amendment and everyone asked, How are we going to ensure that these rights can be defended by the people? then they wrote the second amendment which gave teeth to all the other rights.
I take great pride in my family and its history. I am a direct decendent of John Morton who signed that declaration and my family has been protecting it since. every generation of my family has served this great Nation and now our own people are willing to elect a man who has made his Policy well known.
If you have guns like you say, Hide them and report them stolen because you will nt own them if Obama wins.
Obama, funded by George soros the Anti American Anti gun world citizen has sent his #1 dog John Podesta to work on Obamas staff.
Podesta has one job= Draft legislation that will undermine the second amendment.
They did this in Austrailia and canada and they will do it here.
I wonder if Obama would be so willing to abolish the 13th and 14th amendment?
Good luck in your new world.
Ummm, hate to inform you, Mr. Constitutional Scholar, but your Bushies have stricken down THREE Amendments of our Bill of Rights, already, and have SEVERELY compromised two others.

The ironically named "Patriot Act" nullifies the 4th and 5th Amendments, and the Military Commissions Act nullifies the 8th.

In the wake of Katrina, Bush used his blackwater thugs to DISARM AMERICAN CITIZENS. He did not strike down the 2nd Amendment, he just freaking IGNORED it.

The corporate monopolization of media, the profusion of "faith-based" initiatives, "free speech" zones, and the pre-emptive arrest of people they THOUGHT might protest at the GOP convention are ALL clear violations of the 1st Amendment.

I honor you and your children for their sacrifice to this Nation, but I will contend strongly that they would serve this country MUCH more faithfully by turning around and shooting the bastards cutting their orders, because, as I recall, the OATH you all swore says "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL ENEMIES, foreign and DOMESTIC."

Stop believing the lies that Obama will kill the 2nd Amendment. The guy is a freaking CONSTITUIONAL LAW PROFESSOR, for pete's sake. He GETS the 2nd Amendment, more than most.

Racists, religious nuts, the retarded and rich. The republican Four "R" Club.

Some critics say the campaign hasn't done enough to stop Campaign Finance Fraud.

This summer, watchdog groups asked both campaigns to share more information about its small donors.

+ The McCain campaign agreed;
- The Obama campaign did not.

"They could have done themselves a service by heeding the suggestions, said Massie Ritsch of the Center for Responsive Politics.

And I think the photo ID is a great idea, or finger printing like they do in Iraq. With a computer count. There has to be a more efficient and effective way to prevent voter fraud than the way we do it. Especially for a country with our technological developments.

Fraud is the only reason they keep these old systems around and you know it is not just one party doing it. Or just one individual (ACORN) group. If the IRS can scan income tax forms and audit them for validity and be confident that their system is secure; we should be be able to come up with an effective standardized voting system.

Yes, it is all too common. I would hate to be his wife or daughter. It is bad enough emotionally to be humiliated in private and then for the whole world to know and are waiting to see how you deal with it. No thanks, i think i'll pass.

So my advice for the day is:

Unless you don't mind
a little public humiliation,
take my advice,
and don't marry a politician.

Thanks, truth is I am pretty good at finding stuff as well. My point was that it is irresponsible to post information that is as yet unproven. I was trying to see the actual sites they were getting the info from because a lot of posters don't even need proof. It is like a chain reaction, they read something that is harmful to which ever candidate they don't support and just start posting it everywhere. I have even corrected people in one forum only to find them posting what they now KNOW is not true in another. But if I do have trouble finding something, you will be the first person I ask and thanx again. Have a nice day!

Did they disarm the American citizens who were shooting at rescue helicopters and looting stores?
I would like to know how your rights have been affected by the patriot act, A bipartisan piece of sh** also supported by Joey Biden.
Im talking about search and seizure laws that Obama supports and would enact if elected.
As for my love of the constitution and my country I dont have to justify it to anyone.
I have lived my entire life under the constitution and would not have it any other way.
I am not a nut job who calls on the death of a candidate (even Obama) but I know Iwould most likely become famous if a tyrant were to try to force their will on me and mine.

You sound like my husband. He says we file our taxes online why not our vote? Unfortunately that requires a non-secret ballet system and I am not sure that would work either. I do agree there should be a way to keep it honest. Personally I would even be willing to see the whole system overhauled. Do away with the electoral college. I mean how is it fair for a candidate to receive the popular vote, meaning more Americans voted for him than not, but still lose. It happened to Al Gore.
