Obama Misspelled ‘Osama’ on Absentee Ballots in Upstate New York

According to a report from Albany’s Times Union newspaper, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's last name was spelled "Osama" on hundreds of absentee ballots that were mailed out this week to voters in Rensselaer County. On row 1A of the flawed ballots, Barack Obama's name is spelled Barack Osama.
Though Democrats and Republicans alike say the misspelling was an honest mistake, some voters who received the ballots aren’t so sure.

'It's a little suspicious and at least grossly incompetent,' one Sand Lake voter told the Times Union. "If I crossed out the name and wrote in the right spelling my ballot would be invalid."

Still officials, including Democrats, reportedly apologized for the error which they describe as a typo.

'This was a typo,' said Republican Commissioner Larry Bugbee.'We have three different staff members who proof these things and somehow the typo got by us.'

'No question this is an honest mistake innocently done,' said Edward McDonough, the Democratic commissioner.'We catch almost everything.'

According the Mr. McDonough, the 300 absentee ballots with the Osama ‘typo’ went out to voters in Brunswick, Nassau, Sand Lake, Schaghticoke and Schodack.

These are challenging times. I cannot endorse putting a man in the White House to lead us through this time who has no real experience beyond being a community organizer, state senator and, recently a U.S. Senator. There are so many questions about Mr. Obama. I understand some of his relatives affirm he was born in Kenya, his father's homeland. He was given a muslim name and it is believed by many his younger years were spent as a muslim. Who paid for his education? Why is he so strong in his fight to let a baby die even if an abortion is botched and the baby is born alive. He says the baby would be a burden on the mother. So many unanswered questions. So much at risk. If you love America don't gamble on a pig in a poke. Vote McCain, we all know him and his heroic record.

I believe all citizens should be very concerned about Obama's relationship with so many shady characters and organizations. OK then - please have the federal govt. return all the millions of dollars we who pay the highest taxes in the country (in the blue states) have seen gone to pay for places like KY to have what their own population are unable to give them - a better infrastructure - then bitch about socialism.
