Full story: LA Daily News

BRAVE enough to Trade Matt Kemp AND Kershaw? Is that a typo? Did you mean IDIOTIC enough? Have you actually ever seen a Dodger game?

Kershaw just improved to 4-0 with a 0.76 ERA in his last six starts. he went 16 scoreless innings. Don't trade a starter for a starter, trade position players and prospects. We have to play Pierre or trade him.

What about Kuroda, McDonald and Jason Repko (at Triple A right now) for Halladay?

What about this? I read this two weeks ago, but saw no more after that. Kuroda and James McDonald (Dodgers 3rd starter and Top pitching prospect), Pierre, and DeWitt for Halladay? The Dodgers can pull that off and it would even make the Jays stronger this year as both Pierre and DeWitt would start.

Halladay just said at the all-star game that he's up for going to the NL and pitching for a big market team. I think Kershaw, Billingsley and Broxton are the only untouchable players and the Dodgers need to pull the trigger on this if they want to contend for the WS this year.

The Blue Jays have some HORRIBLE contracts:

Vernon Wells (4 1/2 years and about $107 million remaining on an 8 year-$126 million contract), B.J. Ryan (who they just released and will eat about $15 million), Alex Rios (owed $68 million over the next 6 years), and nearly $25 million to Halladay for this and next year.

They don't want to take on salary, so I don't see how Pierre fits in the deal.

I'd do it if you left out Pierre. The other proposed trade of Kemp and Kershaw or Billingsley or McDonald is too much for a 32 year old, albeit really, really good, pitcher.
