As a Criminal Justice student I know that there is no perfect crime. Evidence is always left behind by the killer because they are ignorant. Something is always left behind. They need to look very close to home. This crime was personal otherwise the man's throat would not have been slit. The woman I feel was in the wrong place at the wrong time so the killer had to eliminate any witness. But the killer was definitely after the man for whatever reason which is unknown to us but hopefully the TBI willl get to a motive. They need to look at friends and even family. This was no stranger who did this unspeakable crime.
Why was he shot when the sound could have been heard? Why not just cut his throat only? Why did Billy let him in if there were unresolved dealings?

I was wondering why not shoot him a second time, if the first time didn't kill him, instead of cutting his throat? When you've already fired 2 shots, what's one more?
Also, if he was still in his bedroom & still in his night clothes, which I'm assuming was his underwear, if he's like most Men...then, it sounds to me like he had no idea they were in the house until he heard them coming...maybe not even until they were on him & woke him up.
If they had been invited into the house for whatever reason, most Men would have woke up, put on their pants & come out of the bedroom to see who the Male voices belonged to that they heard talking to their Girlfriend, I would think.

I'm not very knowledgable about knives, but do you think a Female would cut a Man's throat? Wouldn't that take quite a bit of upper body strength? Stabbing , I could see a Woman doing , but cutting a Man's throat? I just can't see a Woman doing that. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I think it's highly unlikely.
And if there wasn't more than one Killer, what would have kept the Girlfriend from taking the Baby & making a run for it. I would think it would have been difficult, if not impossible, for one Killer to keep the Man & the Girlfriend , both, under control, especially if it the one Killer was a Female.

Your Post makes sense. I noticed the Articles didn't say where she was found, only the Man.
But, I still think that had to be more than one Killer or one of the Victims would have tried to run to get away. One Person could not have watched both of them, at the same time. Plus, the Articles said there was no sign of a struggle on the Man. When your life is in danger, you're going to fight or run, if you think you have any chance of escaping. The only way that one of them wouldn't have done that would be if a gun was being held on both of them at the same time, IMO, & that would take, at least, two Killers.

It's like it was a hate killing for them to cut his throat after being shot. Like they wanted to inflict revenge on him. Or maybe it was a hit on the wrong house. You never know.

I don't know this family, but my Mom's cousin is married into this family. It's an awful tragedy and I hope who did this never has peace again.

I live right next door with my wife and we knew them fairly good, they were decent people who loved their baby dearly, we didnt know any one who was having problems with them. Everyone around here is on edge and have gone to great lengths to protect ourselves. We just pray they catch whoever did this before one of us or the family does, as there wont be a need for a trial if there caught by anyone other than the authorities....

Was anybody home at your house the day & time that this happened. If so, did you not hear the gun shots or did you hear them , but not think anything about it?
I say that because I live inside the City Limits where shooting guns is illegal, but I hear them quite alot because we have deer not far away I think some of them are People shooting deer for food. They have increased since the bad economy hit & now, most of the time, nobody even bothers to call the Police when we hear the gun shots, not even when they sound like handguns. That may be a mistake, but when People used to call the Police, they never saw anything when they responded. So, there's not alot they can do, anyway.
I'm saying all of this because I don't want you to think I'm blaming you in any way, if you did hear the gun shots. I'm just wondering if you did & what the Killers did to keep the gunshots from being heard by the neighbors.

Well for one it's not deer season so be suspicious..also if they used a 22 handgun you are not going to hear it they have just a pow sound not a boom sound...also talk of guy having a issue with another guy at work..so i would look there..

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Cancer

Take care because it's a rather downbeat day. You feel as though you have the cares of the world on your shoulders, and maybe you have. You've certainly got to cope with a lot of responsibility and duty, and there could also be delays and disappointments that need to be negotiated. Yes, it's a fairly miserable day but try to rise above it, otherwise you'll soon start to feel really wretched and sorry for yourself.
