Simple minds come up with simple ideas like this. Sounds good, but Obama = Jesus, not. Maybe the anti-christ. |

Hmm, a few short months ago Obama had a significant lead and was being hailed by the media like a rock star. Now we have an old guy and another newbie both equalling his success even though the media hates them. Could it be that people want to hear what their next leaders say? Its interesting that Obama got a surge of $10 million after Palin spoke, seems the DemoRats are really afraid of her.

Excerpt from John McCain's speech:
"We believe everyone has something to contribute and deserves the opportunity to reach their God-given potential from the boy whose descendents arrived on the Mayflower to the Latina daughter of migrant workers. We're all God's children and we're all Americans." Well, there you go. That maverick moron John McCain is gonna push for Comprehensive Immigration Reform (code name for amnesty) again, and he's not gonna give up once he becomes president. They may be God's children, but they're also Mexico's children, and Mexico should be providing services and freebies to its people, NOT US!! We are not required and we're never gonna be required to give them a free ride with billions of dollars of our tax money, period, end of story. And I don't care if they're God's children or Satan's children or Lucifer's children, OK?? Thanks to you, you white Christian Evangelicals who keep voting for mediocre candidates into office. You have people making religious decisions and embracing incompetence. They're the most gullible voters around. And this is the same crowd who embraced Bush for the last 8 years because he is an Evangelical. All they care about is that the candidate believes in Jesus as his Savior, that McCain is a man of God, and they don't care about anything else. And these are the same Evangelical Christian fanatics who applauded Sarah Palin (even though most people didn't know anything about her until a week ago) just because she's pro-life and a PTA member (what does that got to do with capturing Osama bin Laden or taming Al Qaeda or negotiating a nuclear arms limitation treaty with the Russians??). I'm gonna be in favor of a guest-worker program or even amnesty, but only AFTER we close our borders. My motivating issue in voting for someone is where he stands on the issue of illegal immigration. John McCain being a maverick is not my motivating issue. Besides, there are many other POW's who sacrificed their lives for our country and for their fellow soldiers. Why McCain stands out above the rest I don't know. I resent deeply having religion involved in governing decisions and I resent deeply that religion ought to be a heavy aspect of governance. Again, thanks to you, you white Christian Evangelicals who are willing to put your religion over what's best for the country, and what's best for the country is having a competent president and we don't have that. What's best for the country is to have a candidate who's willing to put a big dent on the surge of illegal aliens into this country, and we don't have that. What's best for the country is to have a qualified vice president to help McCain get elected, and we don't have that either. |

It was better to watch the RNC than DNC, No vile filth spewing out of the candidates mouths, and that yelling and screaming....Shouldn't somebody tell BO that he has a microphone and a PA system??? We are not DEAF!!!....Like when McCain quoted Teddy Roosevelt "Speak softly, and carry a big stick"
I don't see BO winning this election, especially when the next VP is a stone-cold FOX!!! |

....We're a Nielsen family and we watched McCain and Palin. As someone posted earlier, McCain is/was an amnesty guy; yes, I hope that will change. But....OBAMA?! He would defiantly push amnesty, raise taxes to pay for ILLEGALS, "free" school, "free" healthcare, free....Free....FREE!!!! God almighty, FREE at last!!!! But who will pay for it? No Amnesty! No more welfare!! No more big government, for anchor-babies, crack-heads, and gang members who have food stamps and Medi-Cal and also the plasma T. V. and Escalade....McCain, possibly the SLOW road to Hell....Obama= The express rocket ship to Hell and beyond....OUT!!!!

There will be two lines at the election.
Blacks, foreigners, Arabs, Mexicans, terrorists and people who hate America in one line. People who love America and want the best for us will be in the McCain line. |

Am I the only person out there who is sick and tired of people berating John McCain because of his age? He is in fabulous health, and looks great. I was very humbled when I listened to the stories about his POW experiences. I believe him when he said the thoughts of his country, and his love for the US sustained him. What else did he have? I also believe that is why he will fight hard to correct the things that are wrong with America-because he owes her a great debt of gratitude for saving him. What the hell has Obama done that can even be mentioned? His character cannot remotely compare. If he was of the same integrity, he would have quit that church he belonged to for 20 years. It would have taken 5 minutes for McCain to get up and leave. Instead, Obama remains a member, and only distances himself from the outrageous, anti-American pastor. And that is only because he wants to "look good" for the media. People, don't let smooth talk win you over! Real character will always be in a person, smooth talkers go with whatever the moment needs them to be.

well watching the two conventions I learned this....while Obama may have had too grand of ideas and may be trying to fix all our problems the GOP was night after night of no policy and no ideas , nothing but speaker after speaker spouting snide snarky sarcastic comments about their opponents.
Ill go with a guy full of hope any day as opposed to a guy full of nothing but hate. |
Obama is not Jesus! |
|
hey racist, u 've obviously been in Bushes line? how did that work out for ya? Worst president ever!!!The repugs have lost the right to govern after the last 8 yrs of incompetence!!! |
|

Upon what do you base the statement the Bush was "the worst president ever"? He may not have been the best-but certainley not the worst! At least he didn't bring ridicule to himself and our country by vehemently denying on national TV "I did NOT have sex with THAT woman!" Then, I have to try to explain away "oral sex" to my 6 year old son. THAT was truly a great president! Not to mention Whitwater and Vince Foster's murder. A Great president! I can only shudder to think what we will be discussing in future forums if Obama bin Smooth-talker gets elected.

Oh, I bet you, McCain is gonna push for amnesty again. He's just as stubborn as GWB. Don't be fooled by his promise to seal the borders first before amnesty. That's the problem with people. They had to willfully ignore the conflict between McCain's stance on illegal immigration and his self-proclaimed promise to restore "American values." Instead, they chose to adopt the fairy tale they saw on television - his amiability and campaign promises - as the reality. At least, Obama has been honest from day one about his stance on illegal immigration. The Achilles' heel with the Republican Party is they're so indebted to Evangelical Christians, which is one of the big reasons why I can never register as a Republican, because I don't want any religion in my government. Granted, Obama is no Messiah, but so is McCain and Palin. To them, change means increasing taxes and granting amnesty and letting hordes of illegal aliens to storm our borders. I can't stand socialists and I can't stand incompetence. I never wanted Bush to be president, I don't want Obama to be president, I don't want Sarah Palin to be president, and I can barely stomach McCain as president. In case you don't know, Sarah Palin's state of Alaska has been a sanctuary state for a while now. So if illegal immigration is your motivating issue, this is definitely not the time to vote for the right candidate. |

This isn't really related to the story but I know a song that's makes a point. The song is American Idiot. Though I like the early 90s Green Day a lot better the song does make a point. The line I'm not part of a redneck agenda tells it all. They're the reason why Bush has served twice and could play a huge role in the upcoming election. The people in the so called Bible Belt are so ignorant. They don't pay attention to Obama and like McCain and Palin because they're really religious. Yes, Chritianity is the major religion in the US, but it shouldn't make that big of a difference. Maybe Sarah Palin's daughter pregnancy and dickhead boyfriend will play a role. Anyways, I think that Paylin despite her speech was a poor vp candidate. The valley has 1.5 million people and Alaska is the biggest state and only has 600k so what the hell possibly happens there, and what could have she done that is that big for the state?

She sold her jet on ebay....this says alot. When she was mayor she went door to door to talk to the people of the town to ask them what they felt the town needed. Her constiuants love her. She did not and would not go to another country to campaign, Terroists hate her but they love Obama. |

Why the lies--it was on all the news that night and the next day that Obama made way over the top of any tv show in history beat out American Idol that has the highest rating in tv--80 million. Since the next convention that rating keeps going down.
This is why a prominent journalist refused to continue working for network tv because of what and how they have to cover things. When that editing comes down from the top they have to change things. If they don't they lose their jobs and these people make big bucks so they go along with it. Sara is only going to crash and burn as they say. The shock and awe is wearing off and seems she has not done anything she says she has done or actually she implies but the press says she has when she has not --the plane she put on ebay did not sale and she said she could drive to work. Yea she could but you cannot get around Alaska cities or towns without those sea planes or what my hubby calls puddle jumpers. Too many people in this country do not think for theirself and instead are like sheep who is led not knowing the truth or caring to find out the truth and only looks for any propaganda to support their desire of what they want to hear. |

By the way since so many are talking about the Mexicans again--it does not matter who gets in office--the Mexicans will get Amnesty or some plan will be devised close to it. Now all the American business owners will have to declare them and there goes their tax free laborers. One thing about America is that its hard to tell who is the crooks and who aren't.
