QBs Ryan, Henne will be put under draft microscope
The Dolphins will thoroughly evaluate two top-rated quarterbacks in this year's draft despite the presence of John Beck , who was the 40th pick in the 2007 draft, and the recent signing of veteran Josh McCown.

Jake Long in the 1st round and Henne in the 2nd! That would be two winners for the Dolphins, two guys from the real UM.

You need to flip a coin on these QB, it's like that box of chocolates, you never know what you will get. I trust the Tuna, unlike most of the experts on these blogs I think he knows more then me. Bill

brain brohm! this guy would of been in the top 10 last year had he come out, it makes me wonder why people think he's any worse now.

The QB still needs OL help, forget the QB position this year and concentrate on the lines. The game is won in the trenches. Simms was a 5th, bledsoe was a sure thing 1st, Romo wasn't a 1st or a 1st day draft choice.
The Ol has been neglected for years, the defense declined last year mostly because of the front seven. We need patience because these areas take years to develope cohesion. |

OOH you bigoted Meecheegan fan, you like the U is not real huh? Like 4 National championships means squat, right? from what i hear coming out of Coral Gables, pretty soon you will see Miami spanking every body again and when that happens I hope they put a double whooping in your wolverine's butt |

U mean your beloved (band wagon jumper that you are) patsies are drafting Ryan? Perhaps I mean Bradysass is still affixed to the turf after the SB, you man lover you |

Is a good thing that genius Cam Cameron evaluated Beck so well that we know exactly who he is and what he is... or don't we?
What a crap shoot and this proves the gigantic mess that occurs when any organization hires bad people to run it and the effects just last for years. I am willing to be my Stud Rabbit that the Family Ginn will not last in this town because Cameron drafted a total project as a receiver and if he is not able to crash that line on returns...ADIOS.. there goes the family Ginn to Baltimore.... HUIZENGA MIGHT BE CURSED AND IF SO......... not even Parcells will get the voodoo out of here. It was Livan Hernandez voodoo priest that cursed Wayne for the 97 dismantling of the Champ Marlins and shipping Livan out of I LOVE YOU MIAMI. |

Bill is throwing up the smoke. I wish he would of done that with the RB position. Because the best shot for Miami to trade the 1st pick is to lead other teams into thinking they are going to draft Mcfadden. He is gold.

I think Henne is better than Ryan. Don't think we should use 1st pick on a QB. Prefer LT, DT or LB.

Looks like no matter who the team picks , someone isn't going to agree with it . Oh well , human nature . I don't think this team will be 1-15 again . That will save the new management team for at least a year . What concerns me more than who they pick , is the amount of money going to someone that has never play a snap in the N.F.L. Until that situation is resolved , the draft will be very expensive for a very bad team . I just hope whoever they pick isn't a complete bust .

I suspect the Dolphins are looking at Quarterbacks to motivate a team to trade up and offer them a special deal for their #1 position. There are to many other needs to draft a QB in the early rounds. Needs like the OL,DL/LB, TE etc...In the NFL Franchise QBs are often made by the offensive line. I wonder if Tom Brady would have played like a Franchise QB on the Dolphins last season. The current two Dolphin QBs have never played on a team with a good offensive line. The Dolphins with this years draft have the potential to give Beck and McCown a very good O-line.

Didn't Ginn already 'crash the line' on returns last year? He had three returns for TDs, two called back for penalties away from the play. Three breakaway returns isn't enough in his rookie year? |
I have to agree with you on this. Trent Green running for his life no wins. Cleo Lemon running for his life many interceptions 1 lucky win in overtime. John Beck shell shocked from the get go. Let them pick the best stud they have evaluated (trifecta) with the #1 pick. Then beef up the O-line and fill some holes. It only makes sense. I am sure we will look at least 6 times better than last year with 6 wins. Go Phins! |

I like your picks except I would swap out Keller and replace him with a corner like A. Cason, B, Flowers, or J. King. I like Keller but CB is a much bigger need. We might actually take a CB at 32 since we can still get a pretty good one like M. Jenkins, A. Taleb and go OL the other 2nd pick |
