The Dolphins are fools for not giving Jason more support then they have, more people watch this show than most Dolphin games. Bill p.s. seems like the male ego is in overdrive with management.

he was wonderful and gracious to watchhis 2 dances last night and the speech from marion was just as great as whn he danced to the nfl monday night theme a few weeks ago and i am very sure he and edyta will be in the finals and he may just win this years competition. i eny watching him dance evert week and i look forward to it to be honest with everyone i am totally hooked on this show. i do not think christi danced very good to be in the finals but i am sure her fans like jt fans will get them into the finals. i will be rooting all the way for jt.like i said once before i am jealous of jt wife she gets the benefit of dancing with him after the show is over she is one very lucky lady.

This entire thing oscillates between the sublime and the ludicrous.
On the one hand, you have a top-class professional athlete, known for his bullish and agile exploits who is only a few steps from the hall of fame doing something that no one has really done before - he has passed his role model in this show, Emmet Smith, who people would have projected as being more likely to succeed than Taylor. On the other hand, he has selfishly turned his back on his team and the club that has hung on to him instead of trading him before there was any souring of relations and all of this BS became known. Taylor has put himself not only in the ramplights of dance sport, with a clear hope to spring-board up to a career in acting a la Duane Johnson, he has gambled his entire future respect on a highly improbable shot at the title. Second place won't get him anywhere but ridicule on the field. Here are the football play-by-play bullets that are already locked and loaded come Sep. Twinkle Toes Taylor. Taylor dances on to the field. I've seen Taylor do better victory dances on DWTS. I've seen Taylor do more victory dances on DWTS. Was he doing a rhumba or tango there? That ain't Edita you're trying to tackle Taylor! I think Edita could have done that better! Dan Marino was right when he said that Taylor better come home with the trophy. That is the only way he can hold his head high. The sad thing is, if he wins the trophy, he will probably retire. He knows he is finished and his ego is too big to make a fool of himself. On the other hand, his ego is big enough and he probably doesn't waste too much time looking inside himself with deep introspect - there are too many fawning voices giving him an extended celebrity status to do so - so he just might go out and make a terrible fool of himself. |

we ladies have always been aware of the male ego for centuries that is why men like to control their women and once we do not let that happen any more goodbye see you. and yes i have said this was a great opportunity for the dolphins to receive good pr espically after last seasons horrible year. but of course no one in the dolphine management wants to acknowledge the good he can do for the fins they are to friggin stupid.just think of all the harassing and comments jt will have to endure in the locker room from some of the things he has been seen doing like the toto on the show he deserves everyones respect for doing what he is doing and if marino can go on video and give him a peptalk where is evertone else they should have had more fins giving him encouragement all along. last nights show was great i just loved it espically after the marino talk then jt said i cannot go home without the tropy. well guess what jt you will be home with the trophy and you deserve it. goodluck and god bless to youbut once you get home with the trophy back to being a great fins football player as you are ok. we want to see you in your number 99 jersey and sacking the opponets qb at least that is what i want to see you do next and on the fins roaster nowhere else. we love you here in south florida and will only think of you as a dolphin football playerfor as long as you want to play football. |

you are a very nast individual who is so jealous of not only his football ability but the fact that he can be as good of a dancer as a football player or for that matter good at what he may do in any form of his life and you need your head examied by a professional for your hostility towards what he is doing. if you paid good monet for your tickets you sat through nick sabans crap and also cams crap both of those men who were to be good head coaches let that ricky williams person do more damage mentally to ateam than jt is doing by being on a dance show you are a dumb ass. |

only reason this article is in the sports section,is to pull the hair on bill's arse.it should be in the lifestyle section.i've been a fan since 1970 and this is nothing but an article to stir up hate and discontent.who really cares what our players are doing in the off season.as long as thet stay out of trouble and go to all football relative activies.

He should be in the weight room.
No womens lip here please, this is the sports page, so unless you are talking about running over someone in your crew or womens golf/tennis, then you are in the wrong place lol.*wink, wink* j/k But really, JT is messing with the team, he should've have already been a leader and talked with the rookies, been seen around the locker room, and been a football player my now. I guess he is too busy cheating on his wife"again" and playing t.v star, to care about his team. That is why the dolphins are where they are now, the "toughest" left with Dan Marino, that guy has his body beat up, broken, torn and he would throw a brace on and play some more. They need football players, not Hollywood wannabe's. |

In light of his success on DWTS...Will Jason change his sack dance? I mean...After he nails Brady does he do the Mamba?? What does he do after a blindside hit on Trent Edwards?? The Funky Chicken? Is that even a real dance? Does he pull Edwina out of the stands (much to the chagrin of his wife) for a quick rendition of the hustle after sending Pennington to the hospital for his 3rd shoulder surgery?? Will they start playing the MNF theme after every sack so he can start the stupid dance he did to the MNF theme on DWTS?? I JUST DON'T KNOW!!! I for one will be watching the NFL network every night in case Adam Schefter has an inside scoop to these questions.

Jason Taylor, single-handedly, is installing more pride in the Miami Dolphins than anybody has done in a long time for the team. We finally have a champion that we can root for. Dan Marino was fantastic. Don Shula, Larry Csonka, Bob Griese, Mercury Morris, etc. brought pride to this city in 1972. Now Jason has brought us something to be proud of. Go for it, Jason. Win that trophy and bring it back to Miami where it belongs.
