Why do the stupid Networks always try to steal the good BBC shows? ABC's "Life on Mars" will be a shadow of the BBC show. NBC tried it with "Coupling" a few years ago....oh, you didn't know that? LOL, it only lasted 2 episodes before it was canned.

Cable has some really good shows, if everyone would stop watching the major networks & watch more cable shows maybe they would get the message.

Ugh... You had to get rid of everything that I know of the show. I can sort of understand in that coopers were much different then american ones back then. I hope you keep the little names and different things that reflect his time (I.E. He said his name was whoever was the Prime Minister currently in real life in one episode) maybe a little different. I had a high expectation of the british show that made me never to miss a single episode & it was excellent.I'll just have to wait and see if it's on the same level as the original... From what I saw of the preview I don't think it compares.

YES! I'm not the only one. I never did understand comedy shows...Just as long they don't touch Primeval & Top Gear I'll be ok.
