I have never watched a full episode of L&O in my life, I don't like procedurals. But I love Jeff Goldblum and I love Raines so I'm going to have to start watching that show.

Noth was on 1st 2 seasons of original Law & Order and the pilot for the 1st show.
Im not surprised, he was great on Sex in the City. Ill miss Jay but will still watch all 3 brands of Law and Order.! |

I suppose that I'm in the minority, but I'm continually amazed that so many people are so focused on the actors, to the seeming exclusion of all else. I watch the three "Law And Order" series to see well-constructed crime stories, told in single-episode format. I don't watch for any specific actor or actress, though I find some to be more effective or more engaging than others.

Well I don't mind Noth leaving since I never cared much for him anyways. Vincent D'Onofrio is why I watched Criminal Intent although I can't wait for Golblum too.

I'm sorry to hear that Chris Noth will be leaving Criminal Intent. He will be sorely missed.

Jeff Goldblum will add some originality to the role. Noth was never able to use his role on Criminal Intent to develope his character. He was the same officier who spent the first 4 years on the original Law and Order. Goldberg's show, Raines, did not deserve so quick cancelation.
