Does no-one at the food network check references!!!!!!!!!! They were duped by JAG in the last finding the next Foodnetwork Star for the same reason!!!! Pick up a phone and do some investigating before you spend a lot of money on someone.

His show is great fun to watch and he appears to be a good Chef so I do not understand why he felt the need to lie. Oh well, hopefully I will like his replacement.

It would appear to me that the Food Network needs to research their people a bit more. Wasn't this the same group that had a contest to find a new host, and one of the contestant's whole life seemed to be fiction.

What gives?

it is kind of funny really, foodnetwork prides itself for finding talent and such.. maybe 10 years ago when they were a nothing TV station.

But you think with all the people they have working for them a simple call to the university/white house/ princess diana's wedding cake/ knighted by The Queen, seems would been an easy call to make.

Another point is we are now just hearing about it? kind of silly really.

Looks more like they are penalizing him for their lack of inititive in checking on his story. Who cares if he pumped up his resume - he's entertaining and a good chef which is why I watch the show in the first place.
Sigh! Yet another show I'm destined to have to give up (when they get another host).

Who cares if he embellished his resume? The show is fun and he is a big reason for it's popularity. He is a great chef, has a fun personality and makes the show great. Food Network would be shooting themselvs in the foot to yank him and replace him with someone else.

I had a friend marginally involved in the show. It was my understanding that two seasons worth of the shows were filmed in advance with no episodes planned beyond that and by the time they aired he was already onto other things (like lying to the socialites of St. Petersberg). I did not think there was a contract to re-new. Does any one know if that was still the case? I don't like the guy but lets not make it a bigger story than it is.

I love Dinner Impossible. I don't think anyone can replace Robert. I wish FN had done its homework first. I would not have to be so very disappointed.

I am glad to see this - I find him obnoxious and the show irrelevant. Any reason to get him off the air is a good reason!

I don't care about his "resume" it's not like I'm going to hire him. I enjoy his show, won't miss it, but probably will not continue to watch if he's replaced. It's all entertainment and how much of that is truth?

i really enjoy his show he is a good entertainer i could care less about his resume. if you did alittle research you find out that he probably isn't the only one that lies. although i'm not promoting lying i just want only him on the show if you replace him i won't watch it anymore. along with others i know who enjoy him will not be impressed with your decision to can him. by the way i hate the neely's they are disgusting they are in the wrong business. please reconsider your decision !!

I so agree, Margot and also Timmy!! I will not watch the show if they replace Robert, period!! Please help us find a way to support Robert and bombard the powers that be. Who hasn't embellished their story or guilded the lily to make a good impression? Point is, Robert made Dinner: Impossible what it is, all on his own merits, and I refuse to watch a replacement. Please all write to the Food Network and show support for Robert!!!
