'Moonlight' Star Sticks with CBS - Alex O'Loughlin signs talent...

Maybe they should consider bring it back. Just needed a little tweaking and it looked like they were actually doing that. Maybe more like Alias w/intrigue. Do miss it!

Well, Well, Well... I think that cbs made a smart decision in keeping this talented actor in the family. This piece of good news lessens some of the bitter feelings I had upon learning of "Moonlight's" cancellation.(Although, I will probably feel even happier once we all hear what the actual project IS and WHEN,right?) Let's hope that the actor's next project(s) will be even more successful so that we fans can watch him for years to come.

CBS knows that Alex is very hot and wants him for their own. Moonlight is not owned by CBS, so the best business decision appears to be to cancel one of the best shows aired a in long time and sign Alex for themselves. The question is whether or not Alex will reign supreme in another series. Granted, he is a great actor, but only time will tell the tale. Many a good actor has moved on to seemingly loftier ventures, only to fail. Moonlight fans love the show and may or may not love Alex in another role. I am one of those fans.

I am so happy for Alex if this is what he wants,but what about the actors of the series Moonlight, all the writing in of people was to save the show, we love all of the actors, they all made the show. I think Nina is just trying to save her bottom, but i think she should be fired from CBS. I personally will not watch anything CBS bring out, and I always loved that network, it had some great shows. The only thing I can say is bring Moonlight back, that will be the only thing that can save CBS.

I have to agree with everyone who has posted a comment here. I think Nina Tassler is the dumbest women in the business world I have ever heard of. She should be ashamed of herself. I can not believe that CBS is putting up with her

I hate the comment she made about us all being Actor-centric. Newsflash of course if you love a show your going to love the cast. They are the charaters without them there is no show, no story line, no reason to watch.

I to am boycotting CBS. As a matter of fact I no longer watch television at all since Moonlight was cancelled. There is nothing on worth watching. Even if there was why bother it will only get cancelled for another freaking reality show. Enough already how about cancelling Wipeout or Dexter(seriel killer), oh yeah why not show our youth that, hey kids don't watch Vampires but go watch the serial killer it's way better for you. After all why fear serial killers see they are actual existing monsters. What you should be afraid of is those nasty Vampires after all they are only fantasy.

I mean ladies and gentlemen which would you rather have your children watch a story about a fictional vampire or a story about a true to life serial killer (may not be a based on a true story but lets face it folks it could be).

I am so sick of people like the PTC and Nina deciding what is good and what is bad for us. I thought America was supposed to be the home of the free. Tell me what happened to that? After all we are not free to decide what WE want to watch on television, we are not free to choose wheather to have medical insurance, now they are telling us we have to pay to watch television even local channels and for what we can't even choose what we want aired on those channels we are paying hard earned money for.

So you tell me what did our ansestors die for I thought is was so we all could live free. What happended to that?

I think it really BITES the big one that moonlight will not be returning this fall. I have been waiting all summer to see it..I am very very disappointed :(

i think that they made a big mistake and since they cancelled the series maybe they should make a tv movie...that part about his wife and her dark brother was a great story line...it could have added a great avenue for the show but i guess only stupid shows like the buffy and angel program succeed because that entertainment for airheads the only saving grace CBS has is criminal minds forget CSI that is boringggggggggggg.

I still think that they should have gotten that show to Sci Fi. I thought for sure that rumor that they were to pick it up, was going to be true. I miss that show something awful. But...I am glad to see Alex's sexy face back again, so I will take it.

They just left us Moonlightfans....hungry. Or, half-bitten. Not fair.

I so agree, Viva. I miss that show.
CBS is a boil on my neck, w/all the axing of shows & characters. My CSI's are all f'd up & Criminal Minds, my fave show, is into the killing spree of main characters. This is stupid!

I loved Moonlight. But everytime I find a show I love, it gets yanked. I don't watch much on cbs. And I don't watch reality shows at all. Because Moonlight was on after Ghost Whisperer, I would watch G.W. first and then Moonlight. Now I don't watch G.W. either.

We would rush home from practice to watch. This was our favorite show. A show my boys would like to watch.... the blood and fighting for them and the sexy guy for me to watch.....this really sucks.

I think they should bring back Moonlight. I am in mourning over the cancellation of the show and will not be watching "ANY" shows on CBS until my one year mourning period is over. So, if you're starring Alex O'Loughlin in a new series, I won't be watching unless it's Moonlight or my mourning period is over.
Shame on CBS for not even giving us reruns.
