I've been saying this for a long time. I have always challenged my friends to name any Nicole Kidman blockbusters. They always give me Moulin Rouge and The Hours. Moulin Rouge was her sole hit and everything since has been small films or outright bombs. Dogville anyone?? Honestly, I think she's a bit overrated. I'd perfer a Tilda Swinton or a Katherine Keener any day.

She's more than a bit overrated. She is waaaaaaay overrated. She would never have been anything if she hadn't latched on to Tom Cruise and rode his coattails for 10 years. That fake nose was the real Oscar winner not Kidman.

And that's not to discredit Hugh Jackman, but he alone won't be able to carry this 'epic'. Yep, that nose performed well in 'The Hours'....dam fine acting!

Yep, that nose performed well in 'The Hours'....dam fine acting! Too bad they didn't just hire the nose. It would have had more chemistry with Hugh than Freezilla does.

She's certainly not the greatest actress ever, in fact she can be a bit hit or miss with a lot of her performances, but say what you will about her, her performances in 'Dogville','Birth' and 'Margot at the Wedding' are some of the great ones of this decade. They are probably the most consistently praised performances of their years apart from the winners themselves.

My apologies - I get so aggro and snipey about 'our nic' that I often forget that I could be offending her fans personally, by attacking THEM. But I don't like her! Most of my posts about her are genuine, and some are a bit tongue in cheek. You'll get used to me. It's all in good fun - and I'm sure 'our nic' coulnd't give a toss about our comments; At any rate, SHE'S laughing all the way to the bank. Not me!
