He appeared to be a sore loser last year. Right after the show he was saying he wouldn't be back this year. Needs to grow up.

I totally agree. I've seen the new "stars" line up, and although I like Kristi Yamaguchi and Steve Guttenberg ...and Priscilla might be ok...we all know that the pro football player is going to win if the audience is still allowed to judge, so why bother? A male athlete has won every season for at least the past three years. Yes, Helio learned a lot and got very good, but MEL B and MAKSIM had THE BEST TECHNICAL and MOST ENTERTAINING performances (with the exception of their free-style.)

I don't think he was a sore loser - it was obvious that even the JUDGES were not happy that Maks & Mel didn't win last season. Did you see their faces when the winners were announced? Mel & Maks had more "10" scores from the professional judges than any other couple out there through the entire competition. YOU work your tail off for something that you know you deserve and lose it to someone else just because the public (most of whom know NOTHING about ball room dance) votes determine the winner...and see how you feel.

This totally bums me out. Maks is the best part of the show. He's entertaining, funny, sexy and a great dancer. The show is really going to be lacking without him.

I think Maks is conceited and has been very lucky to get the best partners... pair him up with Marie Osmond and see how well he does! It makes me gag when he tries to take his shirt off to wow the women (and men). I'm glad he's taking a break and I don't care when (or if) he returns.

Without Maksim, Dancing with the Stars is hardly worth watching. I'm so sad to know I'll have to wait until the next season to see that gorgeous hunk of a man perform and work his magic on the dance floor.

I was sorry to learn that Max wouldn't be competing on the new DWTS, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Yes, I think he was miffed at not winning the trophy. He is a "hunk" and is "not hard on the eyes"; and he KNOWS it. The other professional men dancers are just as good of dancers as Max and don't act sexy. The key word here is "professional". They are on DWTS to dance. It is not a "beauty" contest!!

I agree, more or less, but I think Helio came to the program with NO dance background vs. Mel who definitely had dance background. Believe Helio won because he was the most green dancer and definitely showed the most improvement among novice dancers with no experience. I would rather vote for a "novice" and not someone who comes out on Day #1 doing a fabulous job.

We won't be watching the show this year.....too many old people....and without Maxi , there is no show...at least he puts some fun in the show, and he is the best looking by far....too bad we have to wait a whole year...HE IS GREAT......

I agree Maks was great...wish he were back...loved to watch him........

but........the amazing part about the show is the fact that people who do NOT perform "dance" for a living..get up there and DANCE, and GET Better, and better, and better, Like Helio...

... Mel was great, but in reality she IS a trained DANCING performer in real life....as was was the Cheeta girl.

He should have won with the boxer.... NOW she was great and did not perform Dance for a living.

I must agree I love Maks, but the biggest thing that i like about him is the fact that he is fun... if you look at the interactions of him and his partners you can tell they are having fun... working hard, getting on each other's nerves (who wouldn't for 14 weeks straight!), but mostly laughing and having fun.

He isn't too bad on the eyes, but I enjoy his chemistry with his partners... and I agree Marie Osmond shouldn't have made it as far as she did.. and of course he would make the comment about not coming back, it had probably already been discussed with DWTS...

Where oh where is Max on Dancing with the Stars... I think Maksim is the perfect embodiment of male alpha, broad shoulders, perfect butt and profile and fits any character Nora Roberts, Christine Feehan, and other paranormal writers could ever dream up... of course he's arrogant! And who cares if he's in love with himself! He's a performer, he's talented, and he's HOT!

To say he IS the show is to say it's gonna get light in the morning. I envy every woman who has touched this man ... I undress his Godly body with my eyes every time he hits the floor. He put me over the top when I discovered his taste for leather - oh, he can really dance too. :-)

He definitely is the reason I watch the show. So sad Misty May had to leave becaseu of her injury. That means no Max!

Max is what every women dreams about,he's beautiful,great bod,smile........Oh and my 86 yr.old mother in law,thinks he is the sexiest man she has ever seen,gets her blood pressure up!!!!!WE LOVE YOU MAX:)
