Or at least *think* they haven't met a gay person.

Actaually now that I think about it you know how cheap the service can be. It might be written but that doens't mean it's followed if you get my drift. Veterans benefits are not all they are cracked up to be depending on your circumstances and regardless of what they say they are treated on an individual basis

you know I keep seeing the aids argument and its really getting annying because of the lack of real DATA.
FACT:33.2 million people now live with HIV or AIDS FACT:In 2007, approximately 2.5 million people were infected with HIV. FACT:Every day, over 6800 people become infected with HIV - almost five people per minute. FACT:One child dies every minute FACT:15 million children around the world have been orphaned by AIDS, losing one or both parents to the disease. FACT:Every fifteen seconds, another person age 15-24 becomes infected with HIV/AIDS. FACT:Roughly one million people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. FACT:Since the start of the AIDS epidemic, 1.5 million Americans have been infected with HIV and more than 524,000 have died of AIDS. FACT:At least 40,000 people are infected each year. FACT:African Americans account for 48% of new HIV infections. FACT:AIDS is the leading cause of death for African American women aged 25 to 34 and HIV rates among Hispanic women are increasing. FACT:The number of women living with HIV has tripled in the last two decades. FACT:At least half of all new infections are among people under the age of 25. FACT:Washington, DC has the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence rates in the United States - one in 20 people are living with HIV or AIDS. Ok so now some logic ok? HIV and AIDS was not started by the gay group. FACT! HIV and AIDS spread quicker in the gay community FACT! Of course it is people. Before contraception in the gay community was needed there was no threat of pregnancy so naturally there was little or no need for it. So of course it spread quicker. That's just common sense. But if your argument is that its somehow our fault you might want to read above. "The number of women living with HIV has tripled in the last two decades." Lesbians transferring AIDS is a VERY difficult thing to do and if Gay men were spreading aids so fast how do you explain the above. "Generally, lesbians are at low risk of HIV infection, unplanned pregnancy and becoming infected with STDs. However, even though sex between women has a reduced likelihood of transmitting HIV, transmission can still occur. Sex between women is not always safe, and therefore women need to know the risks and how to protect themselves." The more you know.... |

1 Listen. It's unnatural. You were born in bodies fit with specific genders for a purpose, to go against it I consider unnatural. |

" I have a good friend who is Gay" gets used by so many people opposing equal rights for GLBT persons ... And while I usually attempt to refrain from labeling anyone a liar - friendship involves a level of mutual respect. One usually does not respect someone they claim to immoral.“Respect” implies an acceptance of those differing from you as different but equal. It is holding someone in esteem. Not judging their existence as immoral, to both God and fellow humans. One cannot claim respect while actively supporting political attempts to create discriminatory legislation. Respect is nonexistent when one makes a conscious choice to propagate misinformation concerning the persons one claims to respect. |
Lynus, It's respect. There were some remarks about my faith and I said and will say it is a choice on the faith. One makes a choice in life to have faith in the Lord. I will not force my faith on anyone. If someone want to know about it I'll share it. But I will not say you MUST accept MY faith. That's what I was talking about. It was stated something about my faith and I responded to it. Everyone has a choice to accept Jesus or not. I can not force anyone to accept Him. I wasn't forced and to force someone to accept Jesus would do more harm than good. A person would need to chose that makes it a choice. Yes respect is also a choice that is earned. |

Did you know there are actual stories saying that AIDS was man made to eliminate the "less desirable aspects of society" I would like to think that's just paranoid dribble but looking at the hate on this board. Made me think for a split second that its just possible... Nahh that's just crazy talk. But if it were, that would be the most EPIC failure on the planet.

Lynus,
Forgot to say, I didn't take you as attacking just asking. That's what friends do, right. |

UnInspired, You are right The Veteran's Adminastration is extremely cheap If I have to go to San Fran for a C&P physical, they only pay like 0.15 cents per mile one way No bridge fee It is over a hundred miles one way and they pay me like 20.71 or something like that When I first got out my disablitity payment was under 70.00 a month Wow, that is what getting discharged with a service connected disability was worth They did pay for me to go back to school twice though I got my AS degree in Electronic and my BVE in Vocational Education Blessed Be |
Listen. What is in nature cannot be unnatural, as that goes against the definition of the word. It is natural and nature dosent have a set rule book on how things go. Sex isnt purely for reproducing. |

Its just a silly argument, Its like saying I know how to do plumbing because I know a plumber. LOL!!! you know, My grandfater was a 3 star general, My dad was a sergeant major. I would love to participate in the military conversation but I know jack about the military. By the logic put before me I should be the most educated man on military protocol on the board.:-P |

You know what I did last night?
Chris was home all day, when I got home he had a fire made, We went to the video store to get a movie. Don't mess with ZOHAN! Funny movie. We watched that then watched a new discovery channel series called Time warp where they take videos and slow them WAY down so you can see some really cool things. We ate dinner while watching TV. We then hung out and played chess and talked about our day. We went to bed where we talked about how insane are family's are for about 20 minutes then went to sleep. Tonight I am going to leave here and bring him a coffee because he is at work and just to say hi. Then I am going to go home, make a fire then some dinner, do the dishes, probably hang out in front of the TV with my laptop and code for a little while (I know im a geek, I write software). I might play with the dogs in the backyard for a little while. Then when Chris gets home we might chill. Chris might game on his computer while I work on music or something. You want great insite into my personal life... there it is. Not that much different then yours is it? Yeah, sorry I am a real person. I wont be attending the massive orgy or praying to Satan this evening. Maybe this weekend though. Sarcasm. Sorry to disappoint. |

im a christian
but i beleive that ALL people should have equal rights i, myself, am bisexual so if i would like too marry my girlfriend then i should be able too because if i would be able too marry her what effect would that have on your life? it would not hurt you in absolutly any way you will still be able too go too church listen to whatever you want too and do whatever you want too the only difference is that i would have the same rights as you and anyone else i would be able too have the wedding i dremnt of when i was 6 i would be able to have the dress, the flowers, everything alot of people take for granted and also, God says too not judge anyone by the way they live if you can go to heaven, and a murder can go to heaven, and a child rapist can go to heaven... then i think i can im not here too force my belifs on any person and this nation should not be dicided on the beleifs of a few people and theres no way that me getting married too a guy or a girl will have any effect on your life, or health at all |

1 Nature made two headed turtles too. Not that I'm attempting to tie you into that but it goes against your statement. The only differences nature made were done through evolutionary terms. Sometimes they were good and sometimes they failed. Homosexual nature is not an evolutionary step nor a 'two headed turtle' but it is not natural. It's not how nature intended. Sorry. |

Well, You had a lot better evening than me. The little woman had a class last night but that is GOOD. Kept her outta the house. Got to run around naked screaming 'my house!''my house!' for a few hours. You have to admit. When you're living with someone it's nice to have them GONE sometimes too... |

Whoa! I don't thing its an evolutionary step. I want mind reading first! But homosexuality is simply a differential on nature. No more then the two headed turtle and gay animals. It happens. The proof is all over the place. I am no better and certainly no worse then the heterosexual. Just slightly different like blond hair , big feet or left handedness.(Thanks to blue for the left handed thing ):-P |
