I think I could forgive him if he would only apologize and admit wrongdoing
When will you liberals get it through your heads. GWB is a lame duck- he is not running for president. I realize that liberals dsperatly need a figurehead to personify your hate, and it has been true from Hoover through Nixon Through Reagan, through Bush the first, to the present Bush.Try to concentrate- John McCain is the nomeni (sp) of the Republican Party Focus.

WE WON IN IRAQ!!!

It's time for a "VI" day, victory in Iraq! A ticker tape parade in NYC with all the GIs marching in victory.

Democrats and Republicans voted to go into Iraq and we did, not without some fine tuning, and we have stabilized the country!

BOTH sides of the political asile can be proud!

GW didn't do it alone, the entire country did it!

Lets have a celebration!!!!

I guess Obama can be a protester at the celebration. Obama still refuses to give any credit to the US troops for the stabilization, sunday on TV Obama attributed the success to war lords coming together in Iraq to call a truce.

Obama is 100% stupid, idiot, jerk, pissant!!

>>>>He turns as a large uniformed man lunges at him. The backpack!” the man yells, pushing Usman against the Italianate gates in front of Treasury and ripping off his backpack. Another officer on a bicycle arrives from somewhere and tears the backpack open, dumping its contents on the sidewalk.[…]

Usman is trundled from the SUV, escorted through the West Gate, and onto the manicured grounds. No one speaks as the agents walk him behind the gate’s security station, down a stairwell, along an underground passage, and into a room — cement-walled box with a table, two chairs, a hanging light with a bare bulb, and a mounted video camera.<<<<<

Pop quiz--what country did this occur in?

Yeah, we were supposed to use that for reconstruction ... what happened? Why are we paying for reconstruction and they're making billions of dollars? What is wrong with this picture? Yes, contracts are going to US oil companies, but that will be their money, not ours. The US taxpayer is taking it in the shorts after Rumsfeld and Bush told us that Iraq oil would finance the rebuilding of that country.

At this point, I'm willing to accept we invaded for oil. I just want some of it now.

Yes, he's a lame duck (I'm being nice here) and will soon be out of office. I think we just want to see ALL of his comrades out of the WH, so we need someone besides a REPUBLICAN to win this election.

Jees Krunch, was it just it impossible to get rid of that red underline when trying to spell "nominee"? ROFLMAO

So do I. Let's start with the repubs, the party of power. Then any demos who aren't on board with a new agenda, free of lobbyists and ultralibs, need to go. I think we can start sliding a 3rd party in there. Most incumbents need to leave, but let's try to restore some of the balance of power first, get back to the fundamentals of the constitution.

I don't know who to believe anymore. I'm wondering why there isn't footage taken of what's really going on over there. Why isn't the media simply sshowing video's?

VoR (et al.)- If you are really interested in a "boots on the ground" look at both Iraq and Afghanistan, I would recommend checking out Michael Yon's website. He is a former SF'er and has been been embedded with US and UK troops 3X.
http://www.michaelyon-online.com/index.php

Secondly, I would recommend a site that has round ups from former military folks that has many links.
http://www.blackfive.net/

Finally, an field grade army officers mil blog. He is very involved in the realtionships with the Iraqi people.
http://armedandcurious.blogspot.com/

I started avoiding the MSM even before the surge. I just cannot credit reports from in the green zone at best or at worst filed out of Kuwait or Germany from reporters who never spent one day in Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk, etc.

The information that Bush's grandfathers did business with the Nazis was challenged a few posts back. It probably wouldn't be such a concern except for his connection with a similar group, the Project for a New American Century, a group of Pinky and the Brain wannabes, which advocated world domination by the U.S. by military force. In 1998 letter to Clinton they advocated a preemptive attack on Iraq.

Administration members of this organization were Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, John Bolton, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney, Richard Armitage and Richard Perle.

I recently noted that PNAC member Randy Scheunemann is an advisor to John McCain. There may be others, too.

This indicates to me that a McCain administration would be a continuation of the Bush family empire principles (or the lack of them).

The PNAC folded its tent and slinked away but its Web pages can be found on the Web archives at http://www.newamericancentury.org/
