Ohio inmate says he's too fat for execution

Just make him run a couple of miles and let nature take its course.

Well then lets just find another way to execute him!

Execution by firing squad is still legal in Idaho and Oklahoma. It is used as a back-up when for some reason execution by lethal injection can't be used.

That would fit in this case. Have him transferred to Idaho or Oklahoma.

And it wasn't excruciating for the girls he raped?

I don't know what it is, but I don't feel any compassion for this overweight, condemned murderer. I trust the ohio department of corrections will find a way to administer these injections. If Mr. Cooey experiences any undo suffering then I think the ohio dept of corrections should take note of that, and try to improve for future executions.

Like everyone said use the firing squad. or make him loose the weight he has until october right? and ive never heard such a thing whats next? just trying to get out of the death penalty.

No one should be executed. Period.

So I assume that all of you liberals out there preaching about this poor man's rights would feel the same way if it was your mother, daughter, wife or sister that this animal raped and murdered.

In Wilkerson v. Utah, the Supreme Court commented that drawing and quartering, public dissecting, burning alive and disemboweling would constitute cruel and unusual punishment while determining that death by firing squad was legitimate.

Firing squad, gas chamber, electric chair, hanging. I think they all fit for him. After all, the girls didn't have a choice now did they and their life was ended in a fashion that is clearly deemed cruel and unusual.

Screw it use big long blunt thick needles.
