Name-calling? What are you talking about? McCain is a true America hero and I am proud that I will get the opportunity to vote for him.
McCain won't even stand up to Bush on torture...(Turns out McCain wasn't even tortured...according to the Bush administration, it was just "enhanced interrogation")

Wow, very specific. Way to quote your sources with exact documentation. You can distort anything and make it fit your needs - political commercials,the news media and their sound bites do it all the time. Just like you are. Obama's wife is a perfect example - she was made out to be anti-American b/c of her comments. When you don't read/hear what comes before and after the sound bite you don't get the WHOLE story.

WOW.. Douche bag..you need a hug man. Old fat white guy? when was the last time Republicans nominated an old fat white guy? Gheeze, you need diversity training and anger management. How sad it must be, to be you. In a lone room, single light bulb in the fetal position, naked but covered in Obama bumper stickers. DNC = Do Nothing Clowns are going down, and all that promise, hope and we'll tax your Change stuff is going down in flames. But hey, you do have those neato Greek pillars you can use at the Ted Kennedy Funeral..lol.

Lying by OMISSION is still lying.

So?
<quoted text>
But, not 1/10 as rich as McSame is!
McSame is SO RICH, he doesn't know HOW MANY HOUSES HE OWNS.
McSame is SO RICH, when his bratty kids refused to leave his vacation home-- he bought the vacation home next door.
Now THAT IS RICH. Don't kick your bratty kids out of YOUR HOUSE--- BUY ANOTHER ONE.
<quoted text>
Liar. You would not have brought it UP if you didn't think it important...
<quoted text>
McSame won't. He will CONTINUE TO SHRED THE CONSTITUTION, BY FOLLOWING DUBYA'S EVIL POLICIES.
<quoted text>
Liar. You have ZERO basis for this claim.... zero.
FACT IS-- under BILL CLINTON there were MORE READINESS TROOPS than under BUSH!(prior to 9/11, then bush had to back-pedal to try to get the slashed military back up to speed...)
<quoted text>
And you are a complete horse's backside.
You vote with your gonads-- you don't THINK about who you vote for-- you just WISH IT SO.
And FACE IT: you don't like Obama because he's not a RICH, FAT, OLD _WHITE_ GUY.
Be honest for ONCE.

More rhetoric without evidence. Cite something specific from a reputable source.

How do you think the Bush administration knows what McCain endured as a POW in Hanoi? McCain is a true American hero and I am very proud to have him as the Republican presidential nominee.

I said, "I once censored a book in my home for my children. It was filled with hatred, bigotry, vengeance, slavery, incest, rape, and many other reprehensible human activities. It was called the Bible.........."

You said, "Please give the chapter and verse for each. I would love to know more"

There is no debate about what the bible says and no need for me to cite chapter and verse. And I did NOT say that there weren't worthwhile lessons in the bible. But what modern book with worthwhile lessons would also stoop to such a level of depravity. Can you imagine a book on business leadership that also says, "If you have an employee that thinks another CEO is worth following instead of me, the one true CEO, kill him." ? That is what your babble says to do to nonbelievers.

Then if you did not read the book yourself, how could you possibly know what was in it? Next time you are up for a little read, try "Farenheit 451."

Why do you think Obama is ready to lead but not Palin? She has more executive experience plus more real life experience than he does. You just don't want to vote for a woman. It has nothing to do with experience. And, she is only running for VP, not president.
The Republicans are redefining "executive experience" in a highly novel way these days. Any two counties in my immediate area of PA contain more people than the entire state of Alaska, and we have not had any county commissioners around these parts for the past thirty years who I would consider "qualified" based on THAT form of EXECUTIVE experience to be Vice president -- and a heartbeat away from the Oval Office. You are also putting words in this poster's mouth.

I read part of the book. What you said just doesn't make sense. Let's just say I read enough of it to know that my daughter wasn't going to be reading it. Is that okay with you?

True, "god" is not a CEO; seems more like a resentful postal worker to me.

Also, "god is god" is both a tautology and a useless statement since there could be at least as many different ideas of a god as there are people on the planet (6 billion and counting) and EVERY ONE of them could be wrong; there could be no god or, if there was ones, a god that was completely different than any one of the 6 billion of us had imagined.

But more importantly, there is no evidence of an objectively real god except in your imagination.

Why do you think that belief deserves SPECIAL respect?(I respect only your right to hold that belief; I do not respect the belief).

That's funny. She opposes so much of what others support, but they don't vote for her because she's a woman?
Is that similar to the reason that you're not voting for Obama???
And a humorous note: recently, a commentator said that it would be an "intensely political choice, not a governing choice" to choose a VP with little experience...like a small town mayor with a few years as governor.
It was Karl Rove on "Face the Nation" talking about Obama's upcoming VP choice. How IRONIC!!!
The GOP must be wishing they could put THOSE words back in Rove's mouth!
Interesting. You aren't supposed to be able to remember things like that! Feed that one to someone in the Dem. Party strategy dept. fast.
We all know that the whole Republican message machine is predicated on their Party members having the collective memory of a parakeet. My God, this morning the guys on the today show were waxing eloquent about McCain bring "change" to Washington! They conviently "forget" the reason we need change so desparately is that the Republican Party -- their own Party -- has run the country into the ground these last eight years!

Re: killing the non-believers

Deuteronomy, chapter 13
1: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2: And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; .......
5: And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God,.......
6: If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; ..........
9: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death,.........
12: If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities,.........
13: Certain men,........ and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; ..........
15: Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

Just in case you fall into the trap of thinking JC "undid" this:

Matthew chapter 5

17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Read "Farenheit 451" and what I said will make sense.
As a point of perspective, a lot of the "Christian" righ-wing conservatives had nothing good to say about the "Harry Potter" series. They thought it promoted the Devil and witchcraft.(Those little things that they used to burn and brand people over, in the good old days.) And then, in the final book, the author brings out clearly that she was a much a Christian as anyone in the Oxford Christian movement of the 1920's, and that she writes through the themes of sacrifice, resurrection, and redemption, for the eyes of hundreds of millions of readers. those only reading "enough of it to know" would not know unless they read it all. And, much to their embarrassment, they would, each and every one of them, have been DEAD WRONG!
There are those, even today, who think Henry Miller's long-banned "Tropic of Cancer" was about sex.

My belief doesn't deserve anything. God deserves respect. I won't get into a back and forth with you about the existence of God. Those that believe in God know He exists. Those that deny God would never be convinced anyway. I don't owe you any explanation for my beliefs, just as you don't owe anyone else an explanation for yours. What is, is.
