Feds: 300 suspected illegals held after SC raid

Keep it going, sent them back - and then fine the hell out of the company for hiring them. Make it so they it would have been better just paying living wages to anyone.

To bad there are not a couple of more zero's behind that 300.

2 different messages are being conveyed...one says, "There are immigration laws"...however, these laws are now being brought to the forefront because of 9/11 and the elections!...everyone knows that this country has been built with the sweat of immigrants (including 100's of thousands of undocumented immigrants)...the 2nd message is "Come on in, there's plenty of work for you!"...when you say this to a people who are suffering under corrupt governments, people that are living in extreme poverty with no hope of a better life, you get 10's of millions of undocumented immigrants coming into the US...I believe these raids are absurd...if you are going to persecute undocumented immigrants, then concentrate on those with criminal backgrounds...

There are plenty of Americans that would jump at the opportunity of ANY job, I really wish Folks would stop flogging this dead-horse of a lie.

I guess people like Mary, Vern and Ihad are the reason neither candidate/party is willing to risk even discussing the issue in a public forum. Especially on a stage such as tonight's where you have Republican, Democrat and independent voters all hearing the same thing straight from the horse's mouth.

I'm sure they'll mention border security, etc. but I'll bet they won't talk about what to do with those that are already here.
