Why is Obama's visit such a secret? His hard working volunteers would have loved to meet and greet him in York County. How disappointing and sad.

Still disgusted with our choices of candidates for Pres. First time in 30yrs. of voting can not be sure who to vote for. Prefer to not vote but that would give Obama a vote. And sure don't want another Bush in.

What a great country!
A recently as fourty years ago, many African-Americans were denied the right to vote in many parts of the U.S. Now we are about to elect an African-American to the presidency.
I am looking forward to the day when the U.S. is respected in the world again.

Obama screwed the pooch on this one. Voith Siemens Hydro is a German owned and controlled company. Multi-national corportations like Voith could care less if their Turbines are made here or in India, China, Germany etc. If their product wasn't so big and hard to ship I doubt this plant would even be open.
Ill stay home thank you

I'll keep my guns and religion. Other than being black, Obama brings nothing new to the table. There is nothing racist about my statement so don't go there. Palin has more experience than the others. McCain/Palin '08

regardless of whether or not they respct us, they always turn to us in a time of need. Which begs the question, why do we care if other countries respect us, if all they want is our protection and money?

wow... so exciting. I hope the YDR gets pics when the "messiah" walks on water.

Obama can keep his socialistic ideas and big government proposals.

You just don't mess with "guns and religion".... rookie mistake. He doesn't have a prayer.
Is that you Obama

What Obama "brings to the table" is CHANGE. McCain means 4 more years of Bush...no way in heLL! Do you REALLY want to see this country get in even more debt than we already are?!

mccain? Whose vp pick, Palin, claims that "The United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a 'task that is from God'" ??! Someone who's picked a vp candidate that "also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it 'God's will.'" ?!

(here's the link for those who haven't yet read the story:)

It takes a lot more than military expierience to run a country. There are plenty of active duty military personnel while, they are courageous people who are and deserve to be respected, are not fit to run a country. Obama is not a "radical muslim", jacka$s, he's said time and time again that he's a Christian. If you want to believe all the Republican bull$hit lies they've spread, go ahead. Obama means change. McCain means the same...4 more years of Bush. And who in their right mind wants that?

You are correct...Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia...and the Saudi's have been notoriously two-faced when it comes to their relationship with the U.S.(that is until the likes of a Saddam comes a knocking...then they come running to their Red, White & Blue Buddy).

"not ok"
You are so convincing. Using profanity in your comments and posting links to websites like "Yahoo"... you are so well informed. Just imagine, all of the people who are probably who have this and will be impressed with your well-versed dialog and compelling arguments. Maybe now I (and all the other dissenters) will run out and vote for Obama, as you have done such a tremendous job rebutting these "clueless" posters. Thank you for jumping in and correcting us. We all really appreciate it. I am so thankful we have "creative thinkers" and "unbiased media" people just like you, who are willing serve and remind us at just what is at stake in this upcoming election. Keep the "education" coming!
