The climate change bill failed a few months ago in the senate. why??? Too costly and many doubters. but anyway..... major wrote: The Internet's a funny place. In a world where 90% of humanity accepts climate change theory (after being widely ridiculed when it first came out decades ago) and all major scientific organizations around the world agree with it as well -- here in America we are like backwards developing countries, with a small, loud minority of useful idiots making paranoid noises about a "conspiracy" and a "hoax", vainly believing they'll accomplish something other than delaying the inevitable and ironically making the costs and adjustments far more severe than they would be had we acted decisively sooner. What perfect chumps. History will not be kind to them.

Poll: most Britons doubt cause of climate changeJuliette Jowit, environment editor The Observer, Sunday June 22, 2008
Article history
The majority of the British public is still not convinced that climate change is caused by humans - and many others believe scientists are exaggerating the problem, according to an exclusive poll for The Observer.

Now, now. People are sensative about the whole inventing the internet thing. Al Gore didn't say he invented the internet.
Al Gore said he took the initiative in creating the internet.
Nuance.

"Let's be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus..." - Michael Crichton, A.B. "Across all countries, on average 90 percent say that “climate change or global warming, due to the greenhouse effect” is a serious problem. Only three countries have less than eight in ten endorsing this view (the United States 76%, South Africa 72%, and Kenya 65%)." http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articl... Enjoy your dish of crow. You sure like that dish. Hate to deflate that 2" e-peen that's fully extended, there, but "climate change theory" had nothing to do with that poll. In fact, this so-called "poll" had absolutely nothing to do with science. Now, since you actually believe the garbage you spout, why is your PC on? Heh, I wonder how many of the sheeple polled by this organization think that that's CO2, coming out of the smokestacks depicted at this website? Think Major M*nkey has clue #1? See. The first rule of mine, in getting information from websites, is that they at least know the basics. http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articl... Then again, some people were just put on this earth to be played for chumps. Over and over and over... "Substantial majorities in all countries polled (83% overall) say it will be necessary for people in their country to “make changes in their lifestyle and behavior” to reduce the emission of climate-changing gases." 83%!!! The Child Messiah should make this issue #1. A winning issue! Sacrifice! Malaise! Let's go, McCain is now up by 5. No time to waste! Run, Messiah, run on it! I wonder what Ruben Rosario would have to say about massive new energy taxes. Think it would his latest cause, in paying their gas bills?

The % of crackpots who believe it is an "unproven theory" remains at 22-23%, roughly the same percentage who support Bush and the same percentage who believe in UFOs. We have a lot of lizard brains in the US. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm comfortable with people reading the links for themselves. 83% of people want higher energy prices. Ya wonder why Pelosi has developed that flop sweat, with so many people FOR higher energy prices. Ya wonder, with a real live POLL saying 83% want higher energy prices, some tards are starting other topics trying to deflect blame for the same higher energy prices, 83% of the people are FOR. Take credit! People will love you (well not you personally) and support your cause! Because polls never lie!

Whatever happened before that isn't going to change the fact that temperature has risen over the last 100 years and glaciers have receeded worldwide. That may be true but it is not what the Global Warming people are saying, they are NOT using the 100 year model. They are claiming global warming not seen for thousands of years. 100 years is not even a blink of time in the age of the earth. Unless you believe in the other myth, then I believe it is like 2600 years since the earth was invented.

That is when heavy amounts of CO2 was produced. You have to take into account human activity with that time period.

The margin of error for each country was plus or minus 3 percent.
