the libs will try there nasty, non profesional ridicule, and us consertives will just smile and say McCain won

Both kept being repetitive. They need to practice in front of a mirror more. Did you notice at the end Fox News showed more of McCain and his wife then the Obamas. Neither of these guys are convincing enough. they have a lot of work to do in the communication and debating field to prove theirselves.

The debate had no substance. If I was a Independent, I would still be undecided! Nothing was said that I already don't know. I'm still voting for Obama, because I don't want Palin in there. McCain screwed up in that respect.

That's the word I needed to use "substance." It was not for lack of there just wasn't any. I felt they both also lacked character. Truly neither was prepared to debate. And as for Palin, she is quick with the cliches and I am sick of hearing soccer mom. Not everyone in this country has time to be a soccer mom. Most of us are working two jobs just to help keep a roof over our family's head and food in their stomachs. She lives in a world that she overlooks and rules 10,000 people in a state and some how isn't equiped with the necessities to no how for the rest of our country or foriegn policy. That is something one does not learn in 2 months. We Americans do not want someone who needs to experiement we need for real. If I were going to vote because she is a woman like many voters will; it surely would not be for Palin it would have been for Hillary.

I also could say ron paul had it together. What a waste of a good brain for the Presidency. Just didn't make that vote thanks to the delegates. Bob Barr on the other hand is educated to lead our country but then again sorry to say most people only know of the Repubs and Dems party do to mostly exposure.

just like Biden said,we don't need a president who is doing on the job training,at least Palin has the basics down, and she is in touch with middle America, she too has a job,and family, and her hubby works, very typical around here
no woman should vote for her simply because of her gender, same can be said for blacks and Obama

Your remarks are a sad insult. I lived has a young person during the Vietnam War and had relatives and friends who did not return but in body bags. I also knew of some who were missing in action but their remains have finally found for the family to give a proper burial. i also wore a bracelet untill my persons remains were found and identified and finally buried. i know this is the truth because i met the family. There is a website for mia-pow from the Vietnam War pertaining to those red braclets. that you can look up whether they have been returned.
Mine is listed in a book at the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial "The Wall" in Washington, DC. And now I have a young grandaughter headed to Iraq with the Striker Brigade in December. I don't know your age or if you served your country but do not poke fun at something so supportive for our countrymen who sacrifice all. And i am not a wannabe . I lived it and am for real.

Neither side won. It's all subjective.

I'm still voting McCain, although I'm really curious how much Obama, the arrogant one, could actually hold his own, or will Biden, the goofy one, need to hold his hand.

You all did notice Obama mentioning that Biden told him subcommittee chairs don't need to hold hearings or visit countries relating to their subcommittees??? Guess he's still in the training mode.

If you are going to vote, you have a responsibility whether you understand that or not. Ethnic groups voting for Obama because he is black is wrong, and racists not voting for him because he is black is also wrong. Both McCain and Obama are lying about something to an extent, that's what presidents do. But, you have to vote on which one is talking about the things that affect you. Also, its a bad idea to let anyone talk you into voting for someone. You should do the research, watch the debates and formulate your own opinion, cause everyone that talks to you about politics is gonna be biased to some extent one way of the other. So, go get educated, and vote with confidence.

I see you are from Dover, Pa. Issn't that the interesting place where the judge had to be protected after he ruled against teaching ID in schools on the grounds that it was just a new morphing of religious doctrine? The Christians right-wing nuts were threatening him? what an interesting place. I understand the school board got replaced - how much did it cost the taxpayers of your town to pay to promote the idiotic views of your previous school board all the way up to the courts - were they heading for the Supreme Court and hoping that the right-ring religious nut Clarence Thomas would have 4 allies for the domination of church over state? If so, the voters saved themselves a lot of money! I don't suppose you rely on tV pundits or spinnders to tell you who won, do they? Gee, let's look at who attacked the most, or body language, or even who looked whom in the eye - heaven forbid we consider their policy views. If one does that, one has to have enough brains to know what the various problems of the world are - and most pundits are out of practice on that stuff , if they ever knew how to do it! they need to know what hair spray to use, what ties to buy, what tailors to go to, what tooth whitener works best, etc. Or the mean ones need to know how griaaly to let their beards grow so they look like tough guys. I am so disgusted with the press tribe! The people who own the media should just put on talent shows, instead of pundits - they are always cuter to start with!
