You overestimate me Tex, I don't have all the answers, but all I'm saying is fear tactics don't
work. How can you or Black Panther complain that the right is using fear tactics, and then use them yourselves?
I'm with you on that one! I guess I erred in copying your comment because it was actually an open question to everyone. I certainly don't have the answers either. I think you and I are intelligent enough to get past the political rhetoric and that's why I didn't really want to get too much into that. Both sides have used fear tactics. Democrats on the state of our economy and Republicans with the war on terror.

However, when a party emphasizes they are America's party and the party of moral Christian values, yet the party's makeup doesn't reflect much diversity or inclusion, then I just had to pose the question.

some of the ignorance here really surprises me, its no wonder bama and Hillary made it so far,
to the san fran idiot - the war has nothin to do with bush, it has to do with the safety of America, not oil either, although it is a necessary evil at this time, its not what the war is about, the war is about Israel, the middle east, and Russia. And although there were no WMD's found put together, there were allot found in pieces, maybe one should have found its way to your backyard, if your skin was half melted off, and you could still breathe from a half a lung, you would have a different opinion.
And no one can argue that Palin does not have more experience than bama, even hillary(she only has one term in the senate)you sheep hear what you want to hear, read and think for yourself, the press and the web cannot be trusted for anything, you must go to the references and educate yourself.
Iraq did not attack America. Now that we destroyed that country we are suppose to feel safe. We killed the wrong person!

I call them as I see them, the answer to your question, "Is McCain as dumb as Bush"? is, YES!!! Bush and McCain, DUMB & DUMBER!
McCain's pick for vice pres is a gimmick that will backfire on the GOP! He's desperate, and actually believes voters will fall for his stupid stunt!
The hypocrisy of calling Obama inexperienced, and whom does McCain pick? An unknown white as you wish, inexperienced ****! You will rue the day if McCain and Palin win!

"Rue the day?" Who talks like that?

The truth of the matter is, that the GOP has no plan to help the middle class, no message of hope, no vision for change, and no leadership! McCain's war record is besides the point! That doesn't qualify him for office!

Last night, Palin outlined part of Obama's message of hope which includes raising every tax there is. Is that the kind of "hope" you're looking for?

He can't win because he's tethered to Bush and Chaney and their failed policies of the past eight years!
We don't want more of the same with McCain!!
He's a filthy bigot from the state of Arizona, the most racist state in the union!

"A filthy bigot." Where in his past do you find any bigotry at all? How is Arizona "the most racist state in the union"? Because not many people of color choose to live there? Do you think Arizona has a mandate on how many people of color can move in??

I haven't seen the diversity of people in the republican convention that I saw at the democratic convention! All I've seen are white faces, ready to continue with the same Bush BS!

People choose their political affiliations; politics don't choose THEM. If there are more white Repubs and more diversity in the Dems, that's their CHOICE. Idiot.

I haven't heard the republicans mention any of the more pressing issues! All I've heard is the hyping of Palin and McCain's war record.
I ask you, how is that going to fix the economy, housing mess, oil mess, and how is that going to help the millions of struggling average Americans?
Answer, In NO Way!!!
McCain will continue to help his big business and oil cronies before the American public!
And how is "hope" going to change all the pressing problems you mention above? McCain knows he needs to separate himself from W, and he is going to make that point tonight.

You are narrow-minded and ego-centric in your comments. Please stop before you hurt yourself.

Roseanne Barr! That's who she reminds me of, yeah! I knew it would come to me! After she loses the election ( Palin that is ) maybe she can do stand up comedy and Mc Pain can visit all the old POW's in the VA hospital's around the country and share his 50+ year old war story!

I agree that both sides use fear or scare tactics, but I disagree that most people see through them, the sad thing is that the poor and uneducated usually don't see through them and do not have the ability or acess to research what they are being told.

You make a fair point Rider, however some, or most of the people that you speak of won't take the time to vote (God knows they should).
In my opinion most of the people who take the time vote take it seriously and at least look into the canidates a little bit, and they know the tactics when they see them.

I don't think McCain made a pick with Palin. I think everyone else saw this GOP front-man (McCain) as a sinking ship and turned him down when he called to ask them to be his VP. He didn't have a choice. The only person who would take the call was a nothing governor who controls more reindeer then people.

So you like the idea of the government controlling you - sure glad you are no longer a Republican (not much of an American either).
