We have all kind of people in the country. We have the male spectrum, and the female spectrum, evenly good and bad across the whole range. Male are more likely to commit violent crime than female, one difference between male and female, so I hope this is something that everyone would agree to start with. Mle has their strong points, and so does female, and they should never be compared with each other, as we should all follow our strong points and be proud of it. However, one should never compare a young male with an almost dead male, nor a young male with a next in line female. John has a very equal chance that he would be dead due to illness the "NO MORE BUSH" campaign than Obama's "NO THANKS TO BLACKS" campaign, so what about the next in line? Someone whom ran for the presidency twice, or someone who couldn't even get the underage 17 years old to check for condom before a redneck taking a chance? Is this a Catholic thing altogether? Where is the parenting here? I don't see it.

Now that's change! Cheney in a dress. Sure seems Alaskans have a different take on his, I mean, her engergy policy.
http://www.newsminer.com/news/2008/may/29/pal...

Now that Iraq has been won as I kept hearing, where's all the oil or money from it that was going to help pay for the billions we've spent there?

Connecting with America? Of course! As long as you're white. That's all I saw at that convention. Play a game and see how many minorities you can count in the audience. If you really want to have fun, try counting minorities among the delegates. Much tougher game!

Here's another tough one, count how many times the middle-class was mentioned.

L8r, the KKK can now have the floor.

Never underestimate the stupidity and gullibility of human beings- after all, Bush was elected to 2 terms and he has been proven to be the dumbest president of all time (lowest IQ). He also has the lowest morality score.... good riddance to the GOP! You don't have a chance in November

Don't be so hasty. The Dem's upset a lot of women voters by not making Hilary the VP! The women vote more then men and with the women switching to the GOP, there might be an upset in the works. Now, with McCain picking a woman, does he seem as dumb as GW?

Can anyone say Karl Rove PUMA in the house? People, myself included, supported Hillary because of what she stands for. But for you to say Palin's stance on the issues is in line with Hillary's, it just proves my point. Classic Rove.

But this broad's agenda is miles apart from Hillary (I voted for Hillary in the primary)

How can someone who supported Hillary just turn around and accept this broad? And she brings ALOT of baggage..... I predict the scandal has just begun as far as she is concerned. More will come out and I will love it, especially since she shot her mouth off last night. Can't wait for the sh*t to fly

After watching that woman, last night, there is no way on earth that I would vote for her. Obama has my vote. About the only thing Palin and Hillary have in common is being women.

If a woman voted for Hillary and felt the pain of the oppressive men in the Democratic Party and now states that this woman didn't go through some of the same things on her journey is NOT a person who is after Women's equality. They are a liberal woman supporting a liberal who happens to be a woman. Please, just admit it. If you don't want to support a conservative, we would all understand that. Just be honest with yourselves as well as all of us.
I am a Democrat since the 1960s. This party has left the principles of the party that I joined back in the 60s so far behind. I know that JFK could not be a member of this "Progressive" Democratic Party today. I do not embrace all that the ultra right wing conservatives do either.
I am for the Right to Choose, but I also understand that if Roe v. Wade is overturned by the Supreme Court, it will then be decided on a state by state basis. California will always be Pro Choice, so don't get your pantyhose in a bunch. I don't like the thought of Prayer in Schools either, but I sure as heck like the idea of having real laws that are enforced and every time that I turn around another "Lefty" judge decides for something that millions of citizens have already decided against.

McCain is still McBush no matter who he picks as his second. He is still just more of the same we have had for the last 8 years and I don't think America will survive another Republican rule.
Hillary was a very accomplished person with many years behind her in politics. Palin is brand new to the game and no accomplishments to speak of plus also under corruption investigation. There is no way that I would vote for someone just because she is cloven instead of crested, in the words of Queen Elizabeth I. That is like saying that I vote for or against Obama because he is black. It is an insulting thing to say and if someone actually did that, they would show a huge lack of common sense. Vote for a person, not a gender or a color.
I wonder if McCain gets upset at her, if he will call her a trollop and a c*nt like he did his own wife and mother of his children. Amazing!

How embarrassing. Someone stupid enough to believe in intelligent design has no more place in government than true believers in Santa Claus. We'll be teaching our children that humans were running around with dinosaurs and that the grand canyon was formed by Noah's flood. The dumbing down of America is alive and well in Alaska.

You all can tell me I was right when McCain is elected.

He needed to stir things up and the selection he made for VP did that. Point, McCain. He need to have someone young in there, if he should kick the bucket with his failing health, he did that. Point, McCain. He needs to make history to establish his legacy. Obama will make history if elected. McCain having a women VP would make history. Point, Tie. And if you look at the issues, the point goes to McCain.
I don't know that the tax plan that Obama is dealing, is going to help out the working as much as it will hurt them. Yes, I agree that we need to compensate for the money being wasted on a daily for a senseless war, but I don't know that his tax plan will do it. There is just something there about Obama that I don't trust.
I think McCain is smarter then he looks. His VP is smarter then he is and we will see if this baggage that she carries around hampers her NEW JOB!

Please post concrete reference for assertion that Sarah Palin believes in intelligent design. A quote in her own words would help. Wild assertions by the smear campaign not so much.

I'm puzzled because I keep hearing the war in Iraq is won and no soldiers are being killed, but when I get the Army Times in the mail weekly, I see pictures of at least eight soldiers.

Wow, what a speech by Sarah Palin! This is the kind of speech that first graders should see, people in their last year of collage should see before they go out into the world; it should be an American tract, just like Huckleberry Finn or Great Gasby; something that you check in on now and then.
I think the Biblical term for her , since we are in a
Biblical age is "deliverance", delivering us to where we should be.
She is sort of a gift to us from the world, in so many ways.
That speech just sent a thrill up the back of my leg (yes I'm a man), and that doesn't happen to me often.
I don't even think she own's a ranch (I'm proud to say that with out cussing).

Amen! My hope was that Hillary and Obama would be on the same ticket,no matter which was President. This Palin lady is so fake! I'm not a religous person, but I will pray every night until election day that these people will not win. And if they do, I will examin my belief in God!

You democrats are really stepping in it big time... and so many of you are too ignorant to realize it.
The more you trash Sarah ... the more you come off as classless clods.
You may be high-fiveing your liberal cohorts, but you are turning the stomachs of the independents.
Keep it up....

If McCain and Palin win, it will divide this country and seperate us from the rest of the world. It will bring racial tension like we never seen it in this country. It will seperate the young from the old, rich from the poor. The econony will suffer, because blacks and the young will boycott big business. Not to mention the riots from blacks and the young. When I refer to young I mean the young of all races. Our security and economy is already weakened, and Russia and China will take advantage of the situation.

Notice that nobody is talking about that Other VP candidate. Why? He doesn't matter, he's an establishment tool, he's boring, and was put on the ticket just to spite that Other woman. Nobody of significance or interest, why bother.
