There are many many immigrants here in the United States, not just Tennessee who do not have the proper Driver License to be on the road.
I have asked several.... Why do you not carry a wallet with your papers etc. in there? No answer, its a shame to say but, most laugh. Its not "funny" at all it is a very serious matter. I think the police should set up surprise road blocks looking for people who do not have the proper I.D. |

Why was he not in jail he is a murder and the one that help him or just as guilty. When are our lawmaker going to wake up and get rid of every last one of them, they have been a drain on American long enough.

And that's why we need to get these illegals out of our country! They are a disgrace, and they don't care if they kill or not, they just keep running. And the company that hired him to work as a roofer needs to be fined at the highest cost.We americans need to take back our country and do the job of deporting ALL of them the hell out of here!!!!!!I feel for the families of those lives that were taken because of a LOW LIFE COWARD!!!

This is information on a memorial ride that was put out to my riding club in memory of these 2 girls.
In Loving Memory of Samatha Roach (1966-2008) and Lynn Bell (1966-2008) Wanted Motorcycle Riders: 10/25 10:00 @ Warren County Court House in McMinnville, Tn Samantha Roach and Lynn Bell, while riding a motorcycle, were killed 09-30-08 by an illegal alien who fled the scene and is still at large. They were hit head on when Harin Alverez who driving a pick up truck and crossed the centerline for no known reason. Samantha and Lynn were likely killed instantly, while this illegal alien decided to run on foot. He was picked up by his brother and a friend (also believed to be illegal). The brother and the friend have been arrested, but not Alverez. We want to get any and all bikers willing to help us bring more attention to the serious illegal alien problem in middle TN and across our country. Please join us on a ride that will start in McMinnville, Tn (@the court house square in Warren Cty). We want to ride by the accident site on Hwy 70S just west of Centertown, TN continue thru Woodbury, Murfreesboro and then to the legislative plaza in Nashville. There may not be any lawmakers in the plaza on Saturday but our hope is to have enough bikers that the news media can't help but notice us and bring us to the attention of the lawmakers thru the news! We will return to McMinnville on a route that will take us by both Sam and Lynn's grave sites. We need as many riders as possible to show up. In Sam and Lynn's honor let wake up our legislaters and take back our country! There is no charge for the ride. We will depart the Warren County Court House approx 10:00 am on Oct. 25th |

To Cathy: Unfortunately, setting up road blocks to check illegals would be considered racial profiling. The ACLU would be all over that one.
I agree that the illegals should all be run out. The companies that hire them should be fined, but the problem is that most of (or at least many of them) havew stolen identities. Hats off to News Channel 5 for exposing the Electrolux problem. They almost emptied the plant. Now US citizens can find a job and feed their families. Maybe the sour economy is a good thing as far as the illegals go. If they can't find work a lot of them will go home. The remainder will stay and rob, kill and sell drugs to make a living here. Glad to hear that the one's who helped him escape were caught. They should be deported after serving a lenghtly prison sentence. |

They have to do something about it being so easy to walk into our country, do their crimes and then walk right back into mecico. What does this say about our border patrol? When one of these THUGS get caught they should be given the death pentily, and not sit in prison for years. Put them all out of our country. I'm sorry this sounds awful, and I know not all are bad, but we have enough people right hear in our own country to take care of. I'm sick of hearing about the gangs from mexico or ANY gang. When they get this thug I don't want to hear that he has rights. The only right he will have for killing these 2 ladies will be death!!

Just want to make a correction here... Lynn Bell was a man, not a woman.

I wish someone had an answer to this problem. Just seems any attempt to find illeagles is a violation of someones rights.

If they would start putting these people in the electric chair immediately , it would stop some of the crimes. What do you think they would do to an American for the same thing in Mexico.
Also our two canditates for president need to take a stand on this issue, this is alot of our problem with the economy. |

Well Shirl neither ONE did address the issue of illegals for fear of losing the legal hispanice VOTE im sure.Neither did address how and frick people are gonna work when all our jobs have gone and continue to go to China and Mexico. The next kicker is while our jobs have gone to China and Mexico the Mexicans and OTHERS still come here!!!!!!!!!!Nashville looks like a 3rd world country with the people ive seen lately. Now our economy is in the dumpster they are going back ive read on many credible news sites. They get the best of both worlds when it is to their benefit and its a crock of bull dung!!!!!!!!!!

I work in an Auto shop where many many Illegal Mexicans come in with titles not in their name, papers on the vehicle yet they "own" it, drive it but never have a license, title, insurance or anything for it. Most of them do not speak english and they spend a few hundred dollars every time they come in for these cars and trucks. These are vehicles I could never afford to own myself. I also know a guy who owns a wrecker service, he impounds quite a few of these cars when the police stop them... they can't get their car back cause they don't have title to them. This is insane. This is a real problem that needs to be fixed.

Why does certain posters comments get removed from here? I guess some people don't want to hear the truth. Middle Tennessee, my former home and here in South Carolina, people get your heads out of the sand or where ever else you have them stuck and wake up. I feel so sorry for the family that lost their loved ones. My heart goes out for them. But the true citizens of this country need to wake up and see what is happening. Put down your Starbuck, turn off your American Idol and start thinking about your American country. The home, the job and the life you save might just be your own.....
Now cowards delete this comment..... |

I am so sorry I didn't know of this ride until it was over. I would have informed my family, as they do the rides for memorials and benefits any time they are in the nearby area to help in any way they can. I hope that justice will be served where that murderer is concerned and he is found and put where he belongs...and I don't mean in jail. It's time for these illegals to realize that we aren't going to put up with this anymore, and they will be put to death if they come to our country and commit crimes as horrid as this. My heart goes out to the families of these two people and I pray that they have God in their hearts and reach to him for support at this horrible time in their lives. You are all in my prayers.

I hate and I mean hate it when people don't show extra care and caution to a person or people on a motorcycle. I'm such a big stickler for it. Weather it be staying much farther behind them or honking at those that cut them off.
I won't get on a motorcycle because I don't trust the people around me in automobiles. I'm so sorry that these people lost their lives and I hope that the man who's responsible for this is caught and punished! |

Anyone else notice that since our economy is going south so are alot of the Iliegals? It is pretty obvious in my town. They dont want to be in this country because they want freedom they just want out money. and when thats gone they will head on back home.

My brother has had a Harley now for 4 years, my Dad for five...they both went together and bought my Mom one for Christmas last year and they go to the Harley fund raisers, and I swear, it worries me to death when I think of them out on the road. I went with my brother last year from Morristown to Maryville in the Christmas run for kids, and two cars almost cut right into my brother on our way home from the Rally, it scared me to death. If my brother hadn't noticed them looking in their rearview mirror and swurved out of the way, one of them would have come right into our side. It is sad that people aren't more careful when driving anymore, it is unsafe to be in a car, muchless on a bike. We had a motorcyclist killed in Wartburg recently by a lady that went through a stop sign and plowed him over...it's just ridiculous that people don't even look anymore, and I guess they just assume someone on a bike can get out of the way before they get hit. It takes just as much time for a motorcycle to move as a car. I have the utmost respect for bikers out there, and I hope to get a Harley someday to do what my parents do and share in the rides with them, but I am still scared of what could happen once I am out there. This world is becoming a very uncautious one with absolutely no respect for anybody or anything.

Don't let that bother you. I use to use the same excuse and finaly took the plunge last July, and I am loving it. I have found myself paying more attention to my surrondings, and make a point to keep my distance. I have always looked out for bikes, but I think what I have learned on 2 wheels helped me to be better on 4 wheels. If these girls was on 4 wheels they could still be dead if they was in the same place at the same time in a car. |
