We may take them seriously if they didn't say that "this is going to be the worst hurricane season" year after year after year.
They run the doomsday speech at us constantly.
People ignore it after a while.

I know, it's EVERY SINGLE YEAR. 2004 was serious, everything since is NOTHING.
