I agree with Lisa wholeheartedly. Mrs. Spack was by far one of the best teachers I have ever had! Her charisma was uncontested and it made her all the more a brilliant person. Not only that, but she has gone out of her way to be nice to her students- without any sexual or drug-related intention, for you skeptics out there. She definitely made a really stupid mistake, but that does not make her a pervert or a druggie by any means.
If any Freedom student even utters a word of ill will toward her memory as a teacher or as a person, few will take to them kindly, I'm sure. I definitely won't.

I would hit it.

Mrs. Spack is so nice and is getting slammed w/ all of this just for a bad judgement call. No excuse, but the boys new perfectly well what they were doing and should not be fogiven for their part in this. I love miss Spack and will suipport her till the end!!!

I love how the reporter didn't pronounce SPACK correctly in the video.

Nothing surprises me any more..no one has any morals...it is a sick world....

how dare that 17 year old have sex with her. doesnt he know that the government owns his body until he turns 18? doesn't he know he's not allowed to love anyone until he turns 18? doesn't he know that this is NOT a free country?

you ppl have no right to jump to conclusions about this woman more than anything because its a group of 17 and 18 yr old boys. what do boys this age do more than anything else but make up stuff to make themselves sound like so called heroes to their friends. also i've known this woman for a number of years and she has always been very close to her students (and not in the way some of you sick jerks are thinking)she would never ever do something like this also the picture they have up does not do her justice shes a very pretty woman. what do you expect its an arrest photo you'd look a bit off yourself. the major point im trying to make though is don't make snap judgement on someone you don't know without all the facts

I agree with you about people being to quick to judge her. But really, what WAS she thinking? That she wouldn't get caught? Apparently she didnt hear about that other lady teacher last week. They're still teenagers-she's 45! She should be setting an example for her students, not becoming one.

Why are our tax dollars still paying her salary while our tax dollars are also used for both her defense and prosecution ... sounds like she is getting way to many monatary advantages to be a suspected criminal ...

I'm getting really tired of these same stories of adult teachers having sexual relations with teenage and high school boys ...

the Judges need to step up and do their job or the residents of hillsborough county need to step up during the elections and vote them out of their positions ... or things will never change

As a student at Freedom, I was shocked when I heard this. I don't know her all that well, but what I do know about her - she doesn't seem like that type of person. I think we should judge after we get more evidence and hear the verdict. Honestly people, what the hell happened to innocent until proven guilty. Now if she's innocent of having sex with a minor, her whole life is ruined because someone decided that they wanted a good story on the 6 o'clock news and didn't care about what would happen if she never had sex with them in the first place.
AND where are the boys' punishment. They're old enough to know what the hell they're doing... Don't just put it all on Spack either....
