Wow I just is found out about this story almost 3 years later and I'm disgusted. I am the one of the tenants that this landlord is referring to. I first want to say that the comments that were left by "Janice" were not by my mother. Someone did that (I wouldnt be surprised if it was Susan herself) to make it look like she was white trash. There were so many different reasons on both sides that just made everything complicated. We never lied on the application, they had our last names and all of our info they had no problems with that. The neighbors to the left of the house (if you are looking at the house from the street) said that the owner (Susan Walsh) was a liar and had problems with her when her family lived in the house. Now, the incident with the dog (which they knew was a pitbull) was very unnerving. The day we moved in we locked the dog in the house and went to Walmart. When we returned the cops were there and we were then told what happened. I felt horrible. I don't know how the dog got out but I made sure the doors were shut. The back porch was a "common area" and was shared with the tenants in the apartment about the garage. It was a terrible accident and I would never want even my worst enemy to go through something like that. That night I left a card with a note in there door and we saw eachother not long after and I started apologizing to her face and started crying while talking to her. I felt so bad, I pictured myself in her shoes and it made me cringe. I wish it never happened, I wish I could go back and relive that entire day. The police did give me the dog back 2 months later and we were moved out 2 weeks later. I also got rid of the dog because once they get the taste of blood that's it. He would have done something to another dog or person and I just didn't want that to happen to anyone else. Also, no reporter or news station knocked at the door or tried to get into contact with us I would remember something like that! We payed the landlord the rent we owed her and it's been over with for a long time now! I wish I saw this sooner so I could have defended my family. Oh yeah, while we were in the process of eviction, the landlord (Susan) had a bonfire in the backyard with her teenage daughter and her friends! There are 2 sides to every story. I'm not saying either side is right or wrong, thing happen in life and this just happened to be a huge tangled web of a mess.:/
