This request clearly shows the principals of CL&P are dishonest - looking to punish residential customers because they screwed up. Why should we have to pay for their mistake?

Absolutely ridiculous!!! How can they, after paying out massive bonuses to their staff (who obviously can't even get their billing right), charge the rest of the public because of their error??!!!?? I can't even imagine that they even requested it- the nerve of them. It really baffles me that they would consider such a move.

Thank goodness someone is helping.CL&P's excuses are really getting out of hand.Their mistake is absolutely no reason at all to make us pay!!The rate has hiked so high over the last couple years -our pay hasn't changed-where do they think we are pulling the "extra" from?ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Gee, what's wrong with this picture? CL&P makes a billing error and it's not enough that they already charge more than anyone else out there BUT they want us to pay for their recovery costs on top of everything else? Enough, already!

If the software problem was a vendor fault, then go after them for it. If it's CL&P's fault, take that out of their executive bonus pool, it will barely make a dent. Bring back regulation, these people are so dishonest it is sickening. If I could get electricity elsewhere I could, but despite deregulation, I can't. Sc*w CL&P.

Any customer of CT Lie & Plunder who makes a mistake with money in their job or at home, they should be able to bill CT Lie & Plunder! I am glad that the DPUC finally grew a set of balls to stop the madness at CT Lie & Plunder, albeit will probably be temporary.
