Yeah man. People now notice that life is not a game and you have to make correct choices. If people made good choices, went to school, got educated, and found fun and enjoyable times through sports or something along those lines instead of stealing and hanging around people who lead to trouble, the streets would be safer.

Wheres the stop the violence protest for the man, and the social program to teach kids the minimal morals they need to live in a society of law. Parents aren't there, and its not always their fault, but regardless give these kids something to do, and someone to look up to. It doeskin matter who has violence inflicted on them, whether its Stephen Bell, or a old man white or black, be consistent. I pray for all those that will be dealing with white cops in New Haven, at the same time if citizens stand by idly when its the "other"race it makes it seem like this kind of violence is ok, as long as its not directed at your own. History has no baring on the kid or the man, but could be a motivation for the mob. Random violence for historical motivations is wasted time, energy, and makes for bad P.R for New Haven and its community. It also further feeds white fears, just as every shooting by police officers of unarmed men, usually black,furthers black and informed whites mistrust for police in general. Just like a jury people need to remove their personal bias, and view this for what it is, random violence, it does not matter the motivation. No motivation, outside of self-defense, is ever justified.

Like i said once before this is a very sad situation, one kid is dead, and a family lost a loved one. I was a kid once growing in new haven; I did many things like this kid and worsted ones. Because growing up there, there was nothing to do in new haven, today by the Grace of God I am a pastor. Please don’t judge this kid; he is just a kid doing what kids do. I know it was not the best way, but he who has no sin cast the first stone.
Instead of judging this kid and saying hurtful things, just remember that his family is probably reading this, they don’t need any more pain, they already are going thru enough pain. Many are quick to judge the parents for this, but you don’t really know what your kids do when they leave your home. Instead of judging anyone, please help instead, in this time of pain and suffering. This is a call for the mayor of New Haven, Mr. John Destefano, to spend some money in some type of programs for the kids, if kids like riding dirt bikes why not open a place for them to go and ride dirt bikes legally. Maybe then you will not have these situations at hand. Let your actions speak more than your words. This is a “CRY FOR HELP”
