Yale students name man who allegedly defamed them

I take back what I said above. This was not a couple of unflattering postings. It was a systematic harrassment that went on for a couple of years.

Wow. Pretty evil. Those guys get what they deserve. Read the complaint. This goes WAAAAYYYYY beyond 1st Amendment issues.

The article says the claim of STD is false. If that's true, then it's libel. And, I'd take that SOB Ryan for all I could if he posted such about my daughter all over the Internet.

Yet these same Yale students defame people on a regular basis in thier protests and posters around campus. They would be the first to jump to protect the freedom of speech of a Taliban member at Yale. Do as I say, not as I do. They need a good old fashioned **** beating. Like the good old days before the lawyers sued you for everything and made this type of harrasment possible......oh wait.

Thats a good point. those girls needed to figure out who was posting that and have the crap beaten out of them. They certainly deserved it.

Folks - I'm a first amendment extremist. But read the complaint. I mean the actual suit, not just this crap article. This goes way way way beyond free speech.

They defamed these girls. the girls tried to have posts removed, they continued for MONTHS and there was nothing these girls could do.

We are not talking about a couple of posts. We're talking about DOZENS That badgered these women. It is really extreme. Before you say anything about these girls, read the complaint.

After I read it, I realized that these girls had reached their wits end. Thee was nothing left to do. Its not like a couple of posts were put up so they sued. They actually tried to have the posts removed and the web sites refused. When the girls pressed the issue the sites told them to go away or they would publish thieir corespondence asking for the posts to be removed. Crazy stuff.
