I think that this situation shows that the driver is not intelligent enough to qualify for a driver's license. Take her license away and let her test again when she grows up.

This is why they have new laws for teen drivers!!! This girl is very luck to be alive,I hope they make her take a safty course again. And maybe someone should show her pictures of a car getting hit by a train.

What is wrong with people? Did she not see the blinking red light or hear the horn blowing at her. Even if I don't see the lights flashing I still stop at the tracks and look real quick! Better to be safe than sorry!

I guess this shows WHY maybe the driving license age should be 18 at minimum? I know that crossing and when those lights go on, the bells ring, how anyone could not hear it (unless wearing their earphones for listening to music, whatever), is beyond me. It shows this person was and is not responsible enough to be driving IMO.

Non-sense...I knew what that meant by the time I was 5.

What this really shows is that women can't and shouldn't drive.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was either texting her friends, or adjusting her ipod and didn't have the brake fully covered and just drifted into the path of the train.

Not much else makes any sense, but then again, neither to teenagers. Sorry kids, the small percentage of you who "get it" are grossly outweighed by the rest who are clueless.
Thank you and goodnight

Time and time again, we hear about people getitng hit by trains on this site....and the funny thing is, it ALWAYS seems to happen on the train tracks......hmmm....coincidenc e? Maybe we should stay away from train tracks.

Or better, have "Mommy" (Good Ol' Jodi Rell), establish a law regarding the proper way to deal with a train. One of those obscure, do-nothing, feel-good type laws.
