How Can FCN Improve Their Newscasts?

I think that ANYTHING they do will have to be an improvement..........

I truly hate these snippy little sound bites and then they dash off to some sort of pap filler BS.

As for the ticker tapes at the bottom of the screen I actually quite like them, oddly enough there is a very big world out there and I like to hear about it.

They could break FCN up and go back to Channel 12 and Channel 25.

More competition=better newscasts.

They can tell Donna to stop tanning....I can't watch when she is on!!For goodness sake the woman is almost orange!!!

I believe they should set qualifications for being able to READ if you sit on the desk. Anchors that stammer through the words on the prompter annoy me. Anchors that make up words because they cannot read are horrible.

alright, I don't get it. I actually made some serious ideas, and they pulled my post? That makes no sense to me at all. I guess they really don't care what we have to say. I have made much more offensive and detestable posts in the past that were never pulled. This one was actually serious and <poof> it vanishes.

alright, let me try this again.

1. Take a map and zone off Northside, Westside, Southside, Beaches, Downtown, and Arlington. When you get the address of the shooting, refer to your zoned off map. Wherever that is, report that instead of Northside for everything.

2. Get your facts straight. Ken Amaro this afternoon reported that Beyonce and Jay Z were married April 24th and made an apperance at the Rockets game. Today is April 14th. They did not get married 10 days from now.

3. If Ken Amaro is going to claim that he is on your side, then why have I never heard back from him when I sent two e-mails pertaining to two different injustices that happend to me? If you aren't going to answer every e-mail you receive with at least a "piss off", then don't say you are on our side or for us to say "I'm telling Ken" because nobody will care then.

Now, these are serious suggestions. If you remove this again, and keep comments like "Donna is too orange, tell her to stop tanning" then you obviously don't care what we have to say, so why ask?

Ooh, I have another one-cut the evening news down to one thirty minute segment so instead of going from 5 to 6:30, start at 6. Leaves less time for stupid stories that make me cringe.

Just in reading this, it said that Steve Smith "completed Meteorology studies from Mississippi State University." I guess that means that he is not a certified meteorologist and that he just took a class and read up on it. The other weather dudes boast their seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society, but not Steve. I take it that FCN will just hire anybody. No wonder they are in the rut that they are in.

Most of the time I can't tell where she is looking. Her eyes are as crazy as Matry Feldmans. Looks like she is trying to see 3 different ways at the same time...
