And that's the truth Concerned. THANK YOU. Under both of their leadership within the first couple of months everything spiraled down hill for both agencies. Sorry but that's the truth.

What did Hardy do exactly in your eye that you would of done differently. And where would you have gotten the money and resources to do it. All of the personnel and jail problems he inherited from Kelly. Do you have a magic wand? Can we borrow it.

Hardy fired key people when he took office. Hardy promised he would not fire anyone. He promoted people who never supported him and left those that did behind in the dust. Hardy has fulfilled none of his campaign promises. He is inaccessible; he has built a wall around himself with his new key people, the same people that never supported him in either election. Hardy spent thousands on new uniforms, when the jail is falling apart. Hardy has not done one thing he promised. He has in my opinion, become a Dean Kelly, albeit a better-looking one.

Question…how is it that a 17 year old hooker/dope addict (Misty Cummings) can bamboozle Sheriff Hardy and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department? Enquiring minds want to know.

It's a good thing Putnam County residents are either child predators or drug addicts, the sheriff might have been forced to actually protect people in the county from the bad people.

Sounds to me like you were left in the dust. From my view things are better at the SO. Yes Dean's key people are gone, not fired but gone. We have Sub Stations and they are working on other projects. Rome was not built in a day.

Hardy fired them, they did not leave. Brutus betrayed Caeser in the end. If you think I got left in the dust then I will just brush myself off because my character is still intact unlike Hardy's and most of his crew.

Amen to that, Here is a start and Just a Start. There are many things that I could argue about on here but it won't change the facts. Fact is when the next election rolls around things will be different. We're not in Rome, this is Putnam County and it continues to be outdated with its thinking and decisions. Until we get someone that believes in equality across the board nothing is going to change. So Hardy lying about a change in his campaign, won't hold water for the next campaign as Dean.

We will always be a backward county. One man cannot change anything by himself. We are waiting for someone to do it for us. Kelly tried as Hardy is now. All thy get is blame. We are circling the drain and the only stopper that will work is team work. Do not sit back and point fingers. Help, get involved, stop the whirlpool.

Drunk or not, a liar is a liar. Wrong is still wrong. They're both displaying the same characteristics. Call a spade, a spade why don't you. Neither one have made any differences, except taking a nose dive down hill. That's the truth, "in the know"

you are funny!!!!!!
stupid but funny. Apparently you think that 72,000 a yr is nickle and dime pay.Hardy gave all his command staff large raises when he took office. The underlings who work in the jail or on the road where left out of the benefit of a raise. The did get another raise in their insurance bill. These officers are the lowest paid in the surrounding counties at 29,000. Putnam is a training station before people move on, so in other words putnam does nothing to keep their deputies both corrections and road from leaving.

you are so correct.Especially at putnam county sheriff department. If you are liked you can have the world if they don't like you they will bad mouth and run you away. Also apparently it is okay for employees at the sheriffs office to blog openly nasty comments about their co-workers and recieve nothing. I guess when your husband is a good friend of the sheriff you can do what you want and act anyway you please.

I must really question the possible involvement of Welaka Mayor Sands, and his dear friend and number one soldier, Chief Piwowarski.
These two are well known in Putnam county for thier alleged corruption. The town PD, who has only to answer to the mayor for ANY wrong doing, was been accused of stopping any negro for driving while black. The fact that the mayor had to pay a a six figure fine just to get back into office and that he retained a reportedly corrupt Lauderdale cop introduces a question of involvement in many other criminal activities. Have no fear the FBI and Office of Inspector General has their activities closely watched.

What an interesting group of characters in Putnam Co! While I think they are doing a great job with all the drug busts lately, just wish they would make a statement about the Haleigh cummings case. It appears that it has gone cold. Finding her would definitely be a shoe-in for re-election for Hardy! JMO

Was the missing 176 thousand ever found, did it really exist?
Did it disappear into someone's account that has fled the state?
Quite the coincidence that the mayor "discovered"
the missing funds.
The Office of Inspector General will shed light on this conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering, and grand theft. Too bad the evil SOB's massive heart attack did not spare him his future buggery. His new weight loss will make his orange jump suit all the more flattering. Someone will roll over on this gang. It is just a matter of time.

Truth, it is far more like Berlin in 1938. You won't be run out of town. Your body will be found in a ditch, or you will be shot while resisting, or you will just disappear.
But that may be too obvious. Don't think there not a few MS-13 locals that would cancel your birth certificate. Just another home invasion/robbery gone wrong. It can be done with a phone call, if the price is right! And the thugs are in power to make it happen.
Don't fool yourself, there is a lot of money to be made arresting drug users/sellers, cause some disent but remember you are expendable.

you repeal the "Patriot Act".
