Christopher had a loving family!!! Everyone needs to stop bringing up Michael Barrios past! What he did was consensual. I do not think Christopher said :please kidnap, rape and murder me!!"

i do believe that landlords that have multiple dwelling units do need to be more responsible when allowing people into their units. i live in a place that does extensive background checks before one is able to rent. if anyone is a sex offender of any sort they are not allowed in because there are families living here.

Just amazing.

Now on the other hand, we couldn't move into our condo until a background check was made bc we were told that offenders culd not live within 1000 feet of a school bus stop. The trailer park *may* have been liable, but I'm not an attorney. Any family with legal children they give a damn about have only to check online or call the local police dept. for info on molesters in the area. But liberal society prefers to rely on everyone else and thus they have no personal responsibility.

Then again, I wonder if a scorned mistress can't just have her boyfriend reported as a sex offender and then he's screwed for life. Seems everyone is labeled a sex offender these days.

In a way I agree with what her suit is about. I believe any place where a convicted child molester lives should, by law, have to inform other residents and neighbors. The only problem you have there is, will they tell the truth about where they reside when they report in to their corrections officers. My husband worked with a guy that molested his girlfriends' 10 yr old daughter and reported his work address as his home address while he bounced around from place to place.
This is a great example of why all child molesters, and rapists should receive the death penalty on the 1st conviction. These guys are never cured ,and it's just a matter of time before they damage another innocent persons life.

I never met this little boy but he has a place in my heart for forever! I do not think this woman has a right to sue anyone. Christopher's father has that right. They should have been told that this family had moved in....actually, this family of horrors should never had been allowed to move into this neighborhood.

I thought about this today. My heart is sadden. Its now Nov 11, 2009, Veterans Day and my heart goes out to his family. I didn't know you all but I think about this innocence of a child taken. I think God is telling me something. Many blessings.
