I can understand where you're coming from though, living here and being a young Black woman myself working as their healthcare provider, it surprises a lot of people (mostly White)to believe and understand that I received my job by acquiring my 4 year degree, no I am not nor have I ever been on welfare, no my husband is not on drugs and yes I'm married, no my brothers have never been arrested, yes I come from a LARGE family of physicians and we all earned our employment through hard work not affirmative action since they are not exactly handing out medical degrees or medical licenses. Some people realize you can't judge an ENTIRE race on the stupid individuals you encounter, some don't give a sh** and choose to stereotype. Since I've experienced racism and crime from ALL walks of life while growing up here, I go ahead and stereotype everyone to be on the safe side.

But you have to understand. If there were a group of people wearing red shirts, and a group wearing green shirts, and their were constantly violent crimes being commited by people wearing green shirts, the everyone would be weary of anyone wearing a green shirt. Does that make sense to you?
