No, I know what is going on in them and it is pretty bad. I agree that parents do not take responsibility for their children like ours did and I read the same papers that you read, so I know that the black on black crime is outrageous. However, I think the only way these things are going to change is if we all change our attitudes about them and start to make a change. I have never lived in the ghetto and do not intend to, but I have to go in to try to make a difference. If you were to go into a ghetto neighborhood with the intentions of helping and not looking down on the people or being judgemental, no harm will come to you. Stop being afraid of black people, they are just people. We are a people that is just as tired as you are of what is going on. The difference is, is that Orange Park gives Ribault, Raines and other black schools their used books, whereas OP gets new ones. The people on the North side just wants others to feel their pain. It is a lot of hard working people over there that can't watch their children all the time for whatever reason and there are very few after school programs like my children were in in Orange Park when they were coming up. The same things need to be made available to those people as they do to Orange Park. The reason I mention the children is because we need to deal with them first and their issues so that this world doesn't get any worse. Racism is not the way to do it. Drop your pride and fears and roll up your sleeves and dig in. There is work to be done and we all have to do it. And stop making yourself sound like a white supremacist!

Oh, no. I hate what is going on in the black community. I don't blame white america for the downfalls of the black community. I blame the fathers that will not stand by their families, I blame the mothers who will not stop having babies when they can't afford the ones that they have. I blame the grandmothers for not teaching the mothers and the grandfathers for not teaching their sons how to be men and I blame the ones commiting the crimes. I blame the black churches that are not getting involved in the community and providing programs for kids of the community and I blame myself for not getting out of my own community and helping those that I saw were in need. I don't blame you! As a community, we were all wrong and I take responsibility for not encouraging others to do the same. Today, I leave my community and try to invest in the futures of our young. My children are all doing very well in their adult lives and I encourage them to always take someone else with them. We are our brother's keeper. Now, I solicit your help.

I am not a racist, but, it the black population want to get treated better, why don't they do something about cleaning up their own images, and then the whites won't have anything to be prejudiced about. If they would quit having babies out of wedlock, or at least take care of the kids they have and raise them to be respectiful citizens, get an education and speak proper english, quit using the "N" word, get rid of all of the bad rap music where they talk about sex, drugs, and killings, and the other crap. Clean up their own act and in my opinion, racism has been kept alive by the black community themselves. Ever heard of a white history month? I think not.

I've seen the books from Duval county. Full of gang signs, and racist remarks, from black kids. Look, it's been tried over, and over again. You give them something, they don't appreciate it, and they destroy it. How much more needs to be given? You have the Negro College Fund, Affermative Action, the kids are even bussed to white neighborhood schools, so as to make sure they are given the same chances. What more could be done? Short of birth control? And I'm not trying to be funny here, but what else? White folks work hard, and have to deal with rasing their children too. Thats no excuse. We're poor. Just lost our house, but I don't let my kids sell crack, or prostitute. I don't steal from people. I don't ask for anything. But so many blacks think that it's only hard on them! That's not true at all! The difference is, you have to do your best. Not blame anyone else! It's too late for that now. I will tell you this. Racism exists because of one thing. Now we are getting somewhere. You are absolutely right about what you have said. There are blacks out there that are just that way, waiting on a handout and not looking to do anything themselves, but not all blacks. Place the anger where it belongs and not own a whole race. I have never been helped by affirmative action, I pay to go to school and I'm not asking for anything. I'm just saying that it is not a whole race of people and a whole race should not be judged according to the few. Most black people are not the way that you portray them to be.

Look, we discuss the topics on here, they Sturdivant Slim has to turn everything racist and about how he is so damn "Butch" to kill and encourages it on here.
He just gets lonely and is probably the only way anyone will talk to him. I have looked back over many different topics, and it is him that starts the majority of the racist comments on here that gets everyone going. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't doubt that he doubles as Anya, Julia, and some of the others.
