What is it going to take to get the judicial branch out of their dream world and into reality? Everyone knows downtown is unsafe and anyhting can happen at anytime. And they want to build the new courthouse palace in the midlle of that cesspool!

It's pretty clear -- going down-town, better CC. Sooner the body-count starts the better.

That would be sweet justice.

Too bad they didn't steal Peyton's purse when he was running for mayor.
You're right Joe. Peyton's purse would be too heavy to run very far or very fast.

Talked to a JSO officer the other day about the panhandeling and stuff. He could have cared less, and when I mentioned living downtown he said" that's your fault for living down here." Great for downtown revitalization!
Unfortunately, you spoke with an officer who is not a credit to JSO. Most of them have good attitudes and are community minded. Shame on him. Not everyone is happy with their respective lives.

Virginia is a wonderful person, and I'm very glad she wasn't seriously hurt. Thanks to all her helped her. It's good to know that fellow citizens will come to the aid of a person in danger.
Yes it is nice when people help others. Unfortunately the government often calls us vigilantes for doing this.

We need to do something about the laws and the lawyers who make the laws that benefit themselves, keeping them in buisness, and making them wealthy at our expense....and that's the truth!
Lawyers don't make the laws, they represent people, the government, the people of the State of Florida, or companies in legal disputes, whether civil or criminal. The LEGISLATURE, you know, those men and women in Tallahassee, make the laws. If you want the laws to change, vote for the person who sees things your way.

The State Attorney's office (representing the state of Florida) decides whom to prosecute. If you want them to be tough on crime, call them, write to them, and vote for the candidate (an election is coming up) that you think will be tough on crime. And vote for the judges who say they will be tough on crime.

It's not in the hands of the lawyers.

The lawyers and laws are more concerned about criminals rights than yours. Why? That part about the money. It keeps them in buisness....and that's the truth!
Are you really that ignorant? Do you not think the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution should not be applied equally to every citizen of this great country? What if someone decided to finger you for a crime, because you looked a lot like the person that did it? Should we just lock you up without giving you your guaranteed right to a fair trial and legal representation? If we don't give the criminals these rights, the rest of us don't get them either. Duh.

I hope that Attorney Norton has some type of Identity Theft monitoring because the mugger now has her personal information and now can steal her identity
