Virginia is a wonderful person, and I'm very glad she wasn't seriously hurt. Thanks to all her helped her. It's good to know that fellow citizens will come to the aid of a person in danger.

Talked to a JSO officer the other day about the panhandeling and stuff. He could have cared less, and when I mentioned living downtown he said" that's your fault for living down here." Great for downtown revitalization!

Unfortunate for Virginia, but at least she wasn't seriously injured. Maybe if a few more judges and lawyers had this type of thing happen to them more often, then just maybe they would stop letting all these crimmies get away with crime and keep repeating crime. We need to do something about the laws and the lawyers who make the laws that benefit themselves,keeping them in buisness,and making them wealthy at our expense....and that's the truth!

Are you really stupid enough to think the JSO doesn't care? Their hands are tied for the same reasons I mentioned above which is why I said what I said. The lawyers and laws are more concerned about criminals rights than yours. Why? That part about the money. It keeps them in buisness....and that's the truth! |

This is the second young attorney I personally know who has been mugged/assaulted downtown. The first one wasn't so lucky -- her injuries were a lot worse. Thanks to all of the good citizens who made the effort to help Virginia. We need more like you! At least for a while, she ought to be given some protection going to and from work and some surveillance of the home. Best wishes in your bid for the judgeship, Virginia!

I hope Ms. Norton gets elected judge, and when they catch this creep, he has to face her in court. Then, I hope she throws him in jail for life.
