Toddler on Tape Smoking Pot

The mother is heard on tape saying, "I swear to God, I better not get in trouble for all this." ---> Now, seven months later, Weber has custody of her son and is taking parenting classes.

Really? I personally think that she should have been punished more and at least been sober for a year before they allowed the child to come back to her... she knew it was wrong and still did it!!! What a waste!!!

this kid doesn't stand a chance. she needs to have her tubes tied so that she can't have anymore

As much as I advocate the legalization of pot....
This completely crosses the line for all the obvious reasons.

And everyone sits back and wonders what is wrong with the youth of today...Now ya'll know as well as I do that anyone who would allow their 2 year old baby to do something like this is only going along with authorities until the case is closed. Keeping a baby with its birth parents is not always in the best interest of the child. OK, now I'm just angry..so I'll hush..

The child is back in the Mother's custody. You've got to be kidding me. That's child abuse. She was allowing others to endanger her child and she gets him back? I think that the only thing this so called Mother has learned is not to video tape it the next time. The first thing you see in the video is the child burns his hand on the blunt when they hand it to him. The Mother didn't say STOP, get out of my house and leave my child alone. She says: I hope that I don't get in trouble over this! It's clear that she was concerned about herself and not her child and she gets the child back because, SHE'S TAKING PARENTING CLASSES! What a farce!!!

You are right.. she probably will use this as her defense and she will probably walk away scott free from it too! Sad isn't it??

Well if you took the time to read at the end of the story the doctors didn't find any pot in the kids system so apparently they weren't smoking pot cause with him even being in the same room it would get in his system. But what ever they were smoking it is still wrong of the parent to teach this little boy anything about smoking. She should be punished more but hey thats not our decision!!

He probably didn't inhale, was just imitating the others holding it and passing it. Still, all of them should be jailed and the mother should never get this kid back.

There is no such thing as second hand THC. Even if the baby didn't inhale...(which is a good thing) he wouldn't have the THC in his system if his mom and her friends were actually smoking it.
It was a VERY STUPID move on the moms part for even allowing this to happen. If she and her friends are THIS immature.. then she shouldn't have the right to be a mother yet! Just my opinion.

I agree with you Michelle about the second hand THC smoke thing.....although Ive been to enough dead and jimmy buffet concerts to argue you can indeed get "high" just by being in the cloud of pot smoke....

In any case this woman needs some serious realignment of her priorities.

The local hospital is defective! If that small boy smoked that MJ, then it's in his body.

Well.. I have two friends who used to smoke pot on a DAILY basis.(neither one has children by the way)
And when they would go to get a job and have to drop a drug test their tests would ALWAYS come back with just a trace of THC in their systems.(Even after they tried to clean their systems out) They tried to use the "I was in a room with a bunch of smokers but I never hit the joint" line, and everytime they would get told the same thing by the doctor.. "there is no such thing as 2nd hand TCH". They finally got a clue and just stopped smoking all together.

This is so funny, I was laughing uncontrollably after reading it. Bue seriously, that is some bad parenting.

well first of all any person who gives drugs to ther baby or lets others give him drugs they are worthless she should have went to jail it sounds like that story about the uncle and freind who gives his nephew weed and the baby was only two if anything she needs to do some time!

This is absolutly awful. She does not deserve her son. He is not a person to her but a source of entertainment for herself and her friends. If she thinks that little of her child's well being what's to stop her from doing something like this again or worse. For that child's sake take him away and plance him with someone who will actually take care of him the way a mom should!!!
